Sounds like Pat is keeping the nurses on their toes! Lol. It's such good news to hear how well he is doing. Prayers continue for him each and every day. I hope you feel better tomorrow for your drive home. Prayers for you, too.

I am very happy to hear Pat is becoming more active and keeping his nurses on their toes. Praying for his upcoming surgery and for his move to the next program.

Pat is being moved to the UVA Hospital today at 10:00 and surgery is to be tomorrow.

The nurse just told me he is much stronger and actually sat up in the bed last night and was almost standing, said he was going to the bathroom. They had to use a belly restraint. I hate that for him but he needs to be safe without the bone back in. On the other hand it's positive that he is getting much stronger I believe.

I will update after surgery.

That healing power of prayer when we all seek the help of Jesus. He promises to hear us and send comfort. Today I will be praying for Pat. May he recover and be home real soon.

Pat's surgery went well today and as was expected. Tonight he is awake and confused, steadily trying to get up and saying he needs to get up. Prayers needed for Pat's comfort and less confusion.
