| You also might want to try some Nutrical (you can get it at a pet store) to keep her blood sugar from dropping since she isn't eating much. I hope she eats and drinks some more for you. I would gived her anything she will eat - cheese and yogurt seem to work well also. Still keeping she and you in our prayers.

| It saddens me to hear Emma isn't doing as well as we all hoped. But it is great that you got her to eat even a little...keep up the good work...try constantly to get a little food in her belly. I'll wish, hope and pray for Emma to recover. It is so terribly hard to watch our little ones suffer...I pray for you to have the strength to help her get well. I actually have a tear running down my cheek...I am so very sorry your baby is ill and hurting so...

| I didn't realize A SLIPPED OR EXPLODED DISK could cause a fever??? Scruffy had these same symptoms a few months back 3 separate times, all at 2 weeks apart. The Vet never found out what it was - but thought it was Pancreatitis. Will be keeping you all in our Prayers! Kim

| Ken, Good luck with that little one. It hurts my heart to think about her being in so much pain. Did the vet take Xrays? Surely that would show whatever is wrong with her back! Make sure she gets something to keep her glucose level up. Karo syrup, honey anything you can give her if you can't afford the previously mentioned items. Please keep updating us. L |

| We are checking to see how Emma is doing today I see there is no updates. Maybe they were able to bring her back to the vets office for more help. We are keeping the prayers coming your way.

| Did your vet talk to you about how to use a paper clip? Take a straightened paper clip and gently press it to the pads of her back feet. Do this every few hours. If there comes a time when she no longer reacts to the pressure, she is experiencing paralysis and you must get her to a vet right away for spinal surgery or the paralysis will be permanent. I am sorry to hear that she is not better. My prayers go out for both of you.

| I agree with you about checking for paralysis. Myself whenever I check Babybear I just pinch between his pads on his feet to tell how he is doing. I was never told of the paper clip. I will have to keep that in mind. It sure to me sounds like she might have what Babybear had. It can happen quickly. And sometimes if they do not do digital xrays you can not find the problems in the neck. I pmed you on this subject. I hope you can get to it if not let us know and we can help you get to your pm's. I am sending extra prayers for Emma and your family. Quote:
