Did you do a pre and post bile acid test as vomitting can be a liver shunt/mvd issue as well meaning low protein diet so low protein for mvd/liver shunt and low fat for pancreatitis i/d is the worst food you can give for pancreatitis regardless what their site says as dexter got worse from this did you do cpli test for pancreatitis as more accurate than ultra sound let me know | |

On the swiffer mops - Thank you so much for posting this. I was just thinking yesterday it would be easier to use a swiffer in her play area. Now I know not to!

| Good news today Everything on the ultra sound looked normal, so she doesn't think it is anything fatal, like kidney or heart disease. She said he does not have kidney disease or failure, but his kidneys are not filtering all of the toxins out of his body. We are going to put him on a special diet (Science Diet Kidney formula and filtered water) and she is going to recheck him in a month. He needs to eat food low in protein and phosphorus. As long as he is not acting sick, she said she thinks he is fine. Because of his small size, protein can actually be bad for him. If the diet does not help, we will do more aggressive treatments such as medication and fluid treatments. I was so nervous all day that I actually cried when she told me his ultra sound was normal. Thank you so much for all the support, and hopefully my future posts will be happy ones. You guys are the best!!! |
