After this he will always be prone to it so only give kibble and nothing else as this is expensive to treat and it can recur over and over if you do not control diet of the little one. | |

| Update :) Monkey is home!!! The vet said that she thinks he got into something toxic for dogs. The only think I can think of is that I cleaned our bathroom floor with a Swiffer wet mop. His BUN levels are almost back to normal, but we go in on Monday to make sure. He made drastic improvements on Wed. and Thurs., so he got to come home for the weekend. Thanks so much to everyone for responding and thinking of Monkey. I will post another update on Monday. Have a great weekend!!! |

| I am very glad your little one is doing better! Thanks for the info on the Swiffer wet mop (as she sheepishly puts hers out by the trash and returns to do a search on Swiffer... )

| From Rontiss 1 No, I Don't Know What This Could Be. I've Had My Puppy For Almost 5 Months Now And The Only Time She Throws Up Is When I Put Her In Her Travel Carrier And I Start Driving, She Vomits. The Vet Told Me Give Her Some "dramamine" 1 Tablet 1 Hour Before We Leave? He Said He Told All H Is Patients This With Good Results? I Dont Know About This, But I Pray And Hope Your Puppy Gets Better And Back To Status Quo!....rontiss 1/mission Hills, Ca |

| Setback today... Monkey spent all day at the vet today, and his BUN levels are high again. His potassium and creatnie levels are normal, but there is still glucose in his urine. She sent off a urine sample today, and I scheduled a kidney ultrasound for Friday. She no longer thinks it is poison. She said it could be something as small as kidney stones, or something worse, like congenital kidney failure. Thanks to everyone for the support. I know I am kind of new here, but it really helps to "talk" to people who understand how much yorkies make you love them. I will post more updates as soon as I hear. |

Feel free to talk or vent...whatever you need. That's a lot to go through with a new puppy.
