Just had to log on to YT to check in on your little guy...am I oh so happy to hear all went so well today. Yippee!!! May he just get a very restful night, the two of you as well, and hopefully be home with you soon...still praying for an uneventful, quick recovery.

Eddie's home and looks GREAT. He'd refused food at the vet, but he wolfed down a normal size meal when I hand fed him at home. I'm amazed at how alert he is. He actually did a trick -- speak. After his previous surgery, he was so exhausted and glassy eyed that he refused to do anything for a few days. I may have gotten lucky, but I'm feeling good about the decision to leave him at the surgery center overnight instead of the busy 24/7 facility. It's obvious he got lots of rest.

Mike, I am so sorry I have not posted earlier, just saw your thread.

What great news your pup is home and resting comfortably and with appetitie intact!

Eddie is such a trooper, and you are a great person to rehab Eddie. I saw your underwater videos. You do know and have both the skills and passion and commitment to do the best by your boy!

I read about all the support you received here, I am just sorry I am so late to table so to speak.

Consider Laser Therapy (if that is available to you) Class IV or V laser, it will truly help with the healing time.

Mike, We've been MIA for the past week so I'm just seeing this. I'm so sorry to see sweet Eddie had to go through this. I'm happy to see that he came through the surgery so well and is now home and on his way to recovery! Eddie's such a handsome and strong looking little guy!
