| ![]() Well after all the meds are gone and if she isn't showing improvement I will look into them. Here's a pic or our sick yorkie with my wife when she was healthy. We also have a family portrait of her with us (we have no children). http://i49.tinypic.com/1zm1s2x.jpg My mother got her a Christmas gift of toys and she was already tearing the tennis ball apart when I had to throw it away because she was eating the fuzz. She seems to be normal and extremely active. Crossing fingers it stays this way. Last edited by danieloneil01; 12-24-2012 at 02:42 PM. |

All I can do is pray that you make the right choice for this sweet baby, and don't let her suffer.

| ![]() What a lovely Yorkie - and wife! So happy she enjoyed her gifts, even if she tried to rip them apart. Hope she will eat some more good food and not fill up with tennis ball fuzz!! Praying she is on the mend and the meds are doing their job. She sure is a fighter, bless her heart. Hope she is well enough for you all to have a Merry Christmas. |

| ![]() The nausea shot has worn off unfortunately. Thursday ill take her back to the vet. Our vet said she can recommend a specialist and that's where she will go hopefully by Friday. I didn't want to spend a ton of money but I we love our dog and no one in my family can understand why we spend so much for a dog. But watching her yesterday happy and playful to today makes me feel very sad. I hope its something that they can fix without surgery. |

| ![]() So sorry. You must have been so happy to see her play and eat yesterday and so dismayed that she is sick again. Do the Cerenia oral meds not work as well as the shot? Praying she can be helped by the specialist. |

| ![]() Not at all. They were split in quarters and was told to give her one a day. The shot works awesome and isn't that much, $34. |

| ![]() Gulf Coast is about the same in cost....and I much prefer them. OR Texas A&M. That is the only feedback I can give you. IF she needs to be hospitalized, A&M has a six month payment plan for 1/2 of the bill which is a consideration for some. Hope that they can help her.

| ![]() Is A&M open on the weekends? Will Gulf Coast forward all the info? Half the cost is tempting. If yes do you have a number? |

Gulf Coast will certainly forward information to A&M at your request.

| ![]() Here is the link for the Small Animal Clinic at A&M. You can call them 24/7: Small Animal Hospital - Texas A&M Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences

They do not offer that for one day exams and testing. Gulf Coast takes Care Credit which is another great option. To my knowledge, I don't think Bay Area does...at least they did not in the past. I have not been there in years except to see the Eye Specialists there but they are not actually affiliated with Bay Area.
