She gets dog food I get from the vet. I was told she can't eat anything with fat since it will be bad for her liver. I took her a plate of the food like a waiter and she tore it up. Then I brought her the water bowl again like a waiter and she drank like she just ran a marathon.

This is probably one of the best pictures I have of her as a pup and brings a big smile to my face every time I see it to see how happy she looks.

Is pet insurance worth it?
Is my baby going to be fine?

He told me it was most likely from something she ate. And that it was a good thing I brought her in. Before we took her in her pee was extremely dark, almost gold. I ended up with some on my hand because she tinkles a bit when she gets excited and it stained my hand like if you wipe off monkey blood from your skin.

Pet Ins. can be worth it. I tried to get my husband to get it on a little Yorkie I had years ago, he would not and @ 7yrs. old she became a bad diabetic. The last year she lived we paid over $5,000.00 in vet bills, but I would do it again if I had too...

I tried a few for insurance but it said she was to old.

I think too that to get the pet insurance your pet has to have not had any health issues for the last 6 months. I encountered this when I wanted to get some for Charlie when he was sick with his liver shunt, I could have gotten it for him but it wouldnt have done me any good, he would have had to have had no health issues for the last 6 months, (like a pre existing clause) and then in looking at the coverage it wasn't much of a benefit for what I needed.

I dont have Care credit but I do hear people like it for pet needs, hubby and I just put aside money for Charlies health and when he had to have surgery I borrowed against my 401k. If I ever have another yorkie I would invest in the insurance early but at this point it is worthless for us.

OOHH what a happy smile!!! She is so sweet. I just saw the rest of the picture they are all so adorable.

Well we went to bed at 1130 with her on the bed with us in her own bed. Sometime during the night she had to use the restroom and laid down in the other bed. I woke up and noticed her at 6. She wasn't breathing and was very cold. I woke the wife up and held her. Losing a close dog sucks. Thank you for all your help and kind wishes. I hope she's in a better place.

We'll miss you.

Just read whole thread from start to end. What a nightmare for you. I am so sorry to hear she passed this morning, but she is no longer in any pain. You went above and beyond in your care for her and I know she knew how much she was loved.

I am so very sorry to hear the sad news. Bless her little heart, she went over the Rainbow Bridge when she was ready and in peace. She was by your side and said goodby in her way when she woke you up to go to the bathroom in the night. You have all been through so much but your love sustained her until she was too tired to go on. She will be sadly missed and all of us who have lost pets know exactly how you feel. Please be comforted by the knowledge that she is happy now and in no discomfort or pain. You did all you could and you loved her, that is what she needed in her trials. We all share your tears and mourn your loss. Thinking of you. Hugs, love and peace. RIP little baby.
