Perhaps argue was the wrong word, I am sorry. Perhaps discuss would have been better. I just felt for the poster that discussing costs and various diagnostic techniques when he was so stressed might not be too helpful. Of course we are all trying to help, but we do not know all the facts.
I feel you are not being too kind to me in your last post. I do not see it was a confused post. I thought you were tending to diagnose and treat, the vit k for example.
I just feel for the poster an am sorry for his family and the poor dog. I too have dealt with very ill dogs and know how stressful it is.

The specialist told them to get Vitamin K..not ME. Vitamin K is given for bleeding. If someone said the dog needed it, I felt it was important to let the OP know to call his vet tomorrow....not next week as he said he was going to do. I have NO idea what the PT/PTT is, but clearly something is wrong and that is important.

I am not being unkind to you. Don't know why you say that...this has nothing to do with you and is all about a very sick pup. These people live very close to me and I am trying to help them out.

Thank you for your comments. As you feel my posts are unhelpful and confusing, I will refrain from posting any more.
I have been very concerned about this baby from the start and hope the poster will continue to update.
All I know is that I am concerned about this girl and pray she will be diagnosed and treated very soon.
I am sorry if my comments have distressed the poster, it was not my wish or intention. Like you I thought I was helping and giving non confusing input.

Any further updates...what did the vet say?

I went to the vet and told her what they said. She gave me vitamin k pills for free. I paid for some multivitamin pills and some more of the canned food that she needs. She also told me to keep giving her the liver pills but I can stopgiving her the 2 antibiotics. They will also come to my house when the time comes to put her to sleep. She pigged out on my homemade dog food. Chicken, brown rice, lean hamburger and turkey meat.

She has gotten alot less active and rarely gets up which started this week. We've been hand feeding her when she hasn't eaten when we put food down. She does drink water on her own thankfully. She doesn't seem to be in any pain that I can tell. Her breathing is normal and I've felt around her stomach and back pushing ever so soft to see if it bothers her and it doesn't. Her gums are more yellowish but nothing like you see in pictures but I'm sure it will only get worse.

I've cried a few times seeing her after coming home and telling her I'm sorry. I don't think she has much longer to go. This sucks so much.

My prayers for your little Yorkie to get well. It is so hard to see our precious little ones suffer and be sick. I hope she can stay home and feel better real soon. You will have to watch what she eats and not let her get anything to upset her system. My Yorkies do not get anything but dogfood (Blue Buffalo) Once in awhile a little hard boiled egg that I make for the birdies and a tiny bit of chicken. Nothing more. They just cannot handle our food.

I have just read this entire thread, I am so so sorry that your baby is so sick and that there hasnt been a way to help her grt better, you obviously love your baby very much. your family will be in my prayers.
