YT 2000 Club Donating Member | So very happy you got her to the vet. I do so hope you ask for and get an epi pen. The next sting will be worse in terms of allergic reactions. Hugs to you both!

| Could she have possibly died from this? I dont want to focus on the could-have-beens...but I want to know. I did ask for an epi pen and the vet placed an order for me. I know how TERRIFYING it felt...like a race against the clock...knowing she could possibly die in my arms on the way to the vet. I was sickened with worry, and I physically could not even bring myself to look at her inflamed lips and huge tongue. So frightening. Oh, she is now 4.9lbs!!! My girl is getting big! She was 4.2 when she got spayed a couple months ago. ETA: Vet just called to check in with us. They are so great! I'm so thankful for them! They were not even in business hours but I called the emergency number ahead of time and they were ready for us when we got there.

| Oh my goodness, that is the scare of a lifetime for you both I'm so so glad that Luma is going to be okay. That picture of her little swollen face made me cry, I can't imagine how you must have felt. SO glad it's over now, and hopefully she will never encounter another wasp.

| It's such a blessing her tongue didn't swell in the back and block her airway. She looks so miserable in those photos. I pray this sweet little baby has had something to help her pain and is now feeling better and heals pronto! Can't wait to see a picture of her when she's all well and back to herself. Stay strong, momma. You did good getting her help ASAP!

| So sorry that this happened to little Luma. Her pix made me cringe. I am so relieved that the vet could take care of her. Zoey was stung by a bee on her pad on the way to the dog park. She started screaming and her eyes were huge with fear and pain. Thankfully her vet was 1/4 mile away. Same thing - allergic reaction but not nearly so bad as little Luma. I have never been stung until a month ago and it hurt like heck. It continued to itch and hurt for 9 days even though the stinger was removed. Now I have more compassion for anyone or thing stung by these beasties. Prayers for Luma's recovery.
