| Glad she's okay. A few weeks ago Moki go stung by a honey bee. He knocked the bee off and the stinger and 1/2 the bee was on him. I got it off. Maybe because it didn't get all the venom or it was just a honey be he didn't reach much. I took him to the Vet and they just gave him benadryl and game me a syringe to dose again if needed. A week later he go stung by a Hornet. Just like Wasp they don't leave a singer and gan sting again. He wen limp right away. Thought he was gonna die. The ER Vet gave him some Benadryl and something else. Now I carry it where ever I go if it's warm. Surprising how he goes from limp to nothing ever happened once he gets it. |

| Well, she is in good hands. So glad they are keeping her to observe for a while. Such a scary, scary thing. I can't imagine how people dealt with this type sting in the old days before Benadryl was on hand and vets very close!

| Tongue sting! Don't you know that hurt! All those nerve endings there for that venom to hit! No wonder she was drooling like crazy. Even the slightest burn to a tongue is so painful but a wasp sting! Poor little thing.

| Shes getting a prescription for steroids. Twice a day for the next week. Also benadryl every 8 hours. We also picked up some hw pills...but she has to have a hw test before we can start them. I figured she should just get it done now, poor thing is really being put through the ringer. Ot may seem kind of mean to subject her to a hw test on top of everything else, but I just wanted it done so we dont have to come back to the vet HOPEFULLY for a long, long time.
