Omgosh! So sorry to hear Luma went through all that, the sting must have hurt in a huge way on her tongue, poor baby. You did good getting her to the doctor so fast. Sending well wishes that she gets better real fast and hugs for mommy too

I'm so sorry you and Luma went through this ordeal, but very thankful that she is still with you! Poor baby...that must have hurt so bad. What a terrible scare. Get well wishes to Luma!

Oh my gosh I am so sorry to read about Luma's emergency. This scares me so much as I have wasps that fly around in the grass.

I am glad that she is going to be OK. Thank heavens you got her the ER Vet fast.

OMG i was having heart palpitations reading this...so glad she is OK and hope she is doing GREAT soon, I'm sorry for you and your bf too, I know how stressful and scary this was...you both did the right thing in getting there right away, you are awesome

First pic..in the car on the way to the vet.
Second...on mama's lap, sleepy but feeling better. I am so thankful it was not as bad as it could have been. I was so worried...I love her so so much.

OMGosh! Her eye is sooo swollen! Aw! she looks so much better.... continued prayers for her rapid recovery. Hugs to Mommie and Daddy... good work guys!

Her eye was WAY worse than pic shows. I could not even seperate her lips. I had benadryl in my purse when it happened, but I couldnt open her mouth at all. That was what was so scary. Her tongue was filling up her whole mouth...I was sooo scared.

OMG!!! Poor baby. I was so shaken while reading this. Trinket is my first small dog. Thank you for posting so I know what to do if it happens to my baby. Hope she is well soon. Prayers from us.

I took off the next two days...I want to be with her constantly while shes on this steroid. I feel so guilty for being the one who had the idea to go to the dog park. We went yesterday and had no problems..I dont wanna go back there for a while lol

I'm gonna bring her back in tom. Morning to the vet to just follow up. She's strong, which is good because I'm not!! I was crying the whole time, shaking, imagining the worst...ugh. I cant believe she practically ate a bee. Silly girl...

OMG Carmen, I have been gone all afternoon and just now seeing this. THANK GOD you got Luma into the vet in time. Poor baby has to have been in so much pain. I have been stung by a wasp and it is so much more painful than a bee sting. I can only imagine getting stung on her little tongue

I am so glad she is going to be ok.

I just read through this entire thread. First off I'm so sorry you and Luma had to go through this. She looked miserable in that first pic (and I'm sure you weren't feeling any better at the time). But I'm so glad she's feeling better and getting better! I'm praying for her full recovery. Give her lots of hugs from Max and I!!
