| Hope Mikki is doing better today.... a good reminder that sometimes the VET will know best. Self diagnosing is not bad, but you are right.... you can't wait too long before contacting a vet! Thanks for your post.

| Well both of my patients are hitting the floor running today!! Mikki is no longer vomiting, she is drinking and eating on her own!!!! But the best thing is she is starting to torture Rosie again! She has been peeing but finally went poo this morning!! Yeah!! She is feeling so much better. Hard to believe that she was sooooooo sick yesterday! Thank goodness I took her in! Yesterday it got scary with the dehydration fear. The vet said if she threw up one more time she had to come in for IV fluids. I guess she heard him because she hasn't thrown up since!! Alex is doing great too. During his bandage change yesterday, the nurse said his tissue was starting to grow back. Which is what we want. They took out the infected tissue and now new healthy tissue should take its place. We go to see the surgeon today! Hopefully we will get good news too!! Thanks so much everyone for the support and prayers!! They are much appreciated!! Michelle, Lisa, and Shinja, you three ladies are a God send to me. Thank you for putting up with my 9 million questions!!

| We had only had her for 48 hours. I was in the bathroom getting dressed and she came in holding up her back leg making little wimpers. It scared me to death of course it was Sat afternoon after her vet had closed. I had the after hours clinic just because it is $300 to walk in the door I did something totally out of character. I took her to the vet at Banfields they were great. They had her fixed up and we were heading home with meds and my peace of mind. I still took her on Monday to see my primary vet Banfields is an alternative on the weekends they only charge $36 for the assessment I am posting this so people know there is an alternative to expensive ER clinics They can also do ER surgery as well I hope your little ones is feeling better. It breaks our hearts as parents when they are sick or injured |
