Oh I hope she is stable enough to enjoy a home stay this weekend that would be wonderful.

Crossing fingers and paws that Summer was stable enough to spend the weekend in a home and not have to stay in a hospital.

I'm just seeing this and it is heart rending! So glad to read she is doing better. And thank heavens she doesn't have HW, as the immiticide supply is so low and many vets are running out and can't get more.

I am so thankful for wonderful breed rescues like Yorkie Haven. They are always the ones who go all out to save little dogs like Summer. And YH is certainly one of the best!

While she still has a long way to go, Summer is improving. One of the techs took her home today and she will stay with her until Tuesday morning. She will then go back to the vet.

I am so sure the YT prayers are helping this little one. One of the vets yesterday was commenting on what a fighter this little one is...she is such a little waif and yet is coming along. It is difficult to touch her....nothing but bones and skin and hair over them. Just heartbreaking. She wags her tail at people...I simply don't know how she can do that. They are so loving and wonderful...even when people treat them in such a horrific way.

I am happy to hear that she is improving. What service....at home over a long weekend, with a vet tech...Summer is really getting around! Continuing to send prayers for the little darling:)

Thank you for the news. Summer seems to have the sweetest disposition...I'm incredibly happy that she is getting better.

Oh I'm so glad to see an update. I'm so happy to hear that is improving. I'm also happy to hear she is wagging her tail.
Prayers still continue for precious Summer.

Poor poor Baby Summer, i hope and pray she continues to do well. Just sickining she didnt get vet care b4 this. so glad you have her now!!! And Thankyou for my second cloud 9 bed. Maddie loves it!

Poor little thing. I am so glad you got her Linda. Hoping she continues to improve! I agree, I don't know how she can do it either. Obviously, the neglect was huge yet she still wags her little tail. She will make someone a sweet baby girl soon.

The update on little Miss Summer has made my day. Like you said Linda, it's amazing how loving these little fur babies are even though they've been through so much heartache.

Give her lots of hugs and pets from Gizmo and me. Still praying she gets that furever home she deserves!;)

Oh, she will get a wonderful home! That is something we promise each and every one of them when we take them in. It will be some time before she is ready .. she needs to heal first...and we also need to spend time with her and evaluate what she will need for the rest of her life.
We have no idea if she will be ok with other pups...things like that. If I were her, I would not want to see another human or pup. :(
