| I just watched the video of your beautiful little Basil. I'm so sorry you are both going through this and I'm hopeful the specialist can help provide some answers and relief.

| I am so confused and sad, and upset. My little Bay is going to be getting sedated so they can do a rectal exam. They couldn't do it with her awake because she was not letting it happen. My tears are flowing down my eyes so much. The lady I got her from called me on the phone as I was in the vet office and she said; "I talked to my husband and we did everything we can do, this isn't something we need to worry about. She had an exam by the vet and she was fine. We do not need to be involved any further." The vet walked into the room at that time and I had to get off the phone but I told her I would call her back. The vet told me that she is 100% obligated to give me back my money, and that the Florida Puppy Lemon Law protects the buyer 100%. Well, back to Basil's situation. I told them about the band I felt the other day and they said no, it isn't supposed to be like that at all. So they are checking to see if she has an obstruction, which is a tight band that doesn't allow the feces to get through or in her case come out correctly and without pain. To know that Basil is getting sedated really scares me and upsets me. ALOT! I hope that the lady I got her from knows she isn'g going to be able to walk away without paying up. I need my money back to persue further testings. If this is an obstruction, there is therapy. Balloon therapy. They would go in where the obstruction is and stretch it out with a balloon to get it to a normal size. They also said that this is very common in little dogs and yorkies particularly. But there is hope that she can be cured! I go to pick her back up at 4 p.m. What to do besides sit around and cry. I know I can do some laundry that has been dirtied in her kennel. Clean up a bit around the house, and keep my mind off of this stress for the time being. I will update you all when I pick her up to find out more information. What the next step is. |

| I am so sorry about Basil. If there is a lemon law in FL then regardless whether you got a health gaurantee or not you are still protected. Let's talk about you. Pull yourself together. I know it hurts inside but your little one needs you to be strong. Tears are going to be inevitable but your have to remain calm. If the vet said this is pretty common in small breeds, it sounds like he has been there and done that before. Do you have confidence in him? I am praying for you and Basil, alot of us here are. Keep up the postings and may God Bless you! |

| She is not registered yet, I have the paper work. But it will be through the ACA. {American Canine Association} The lady isn't a {breeder} She has the mom and dad, and she thought the mom was fixed and oops found them locked up together. Out came a litter of 4. Basil being the runt. Florida has one of the best Lemon Laws. I do not have to worry about that at all. I am pulling myself together... At least trying too. Just looking at the clock. Thank you everyone again for all you have helped me with so far. |

| Well, that isn't a worthless registration. A lot of peoples pet at either AKC, or ACA. AKC is for breeders, and ACA are for back yard breeders, which in my case is the situation. |

| All the paper means in hey I have a full breed Yorkshire Terrier, I can show her and win all sorts of trophies and make my dog a working dog or what ever you got, not hey I got a mutt. But, really I haven't even bothered to register her because I got her for my companion. Papers aren't important to me. I do not want to show her, I do not want to do anything except come home and play with her and love her and watch her grow into this beautiful Yorkie! That's all! Also, having her paper is the only way a breeder or a backyard breeder is legally allowed to sell you a dog. And a cat also. |

| I'm hear waiting with you until 4pm. Try not to focus on anger, but put that focus on Basil and her healing. It sounds like she's in very good hands.
