Got Bay in my lap right now, not letting her go. Holding her tight. Taking her with my as much as I can. I want her to know I am not going to give up on her. Heading to the vet right now to get the paper work.

My Pixie would never cry out when she pooped. No way I could handle that. I think Pixie's problem was different. With megacolon they don't have the muscle to push out the poop. Your girl will be in my prayers.

I have an appointment thursday morning. She has to fast for it. I asked them about the lemon law and they told me i have to call the person i bought her from. So I did. I just got off the phone with her and I told her my puppy is very sick and she hasn't gotten any better. I really need to ask you for help. I need to bring her to a specialist. I really need you to help me somehow. Please. she said ok, ok, let me talk to my husband, he isn't home. I will call you back. As I was on the phone crying my eyes out to her. But... I hope they can help me. Give me back my money to help me pay for all this stuff. So thursday will be the next update, unless thors mommy communicates back to me.

Have you been in touch with the breeder prior to this? Basil has been suffering for several weeks, right? Do you consider her a reputable breeder who did testing before the breeding? I'm just trying to figure out what you can expect from the breeder.

I was in touch with her the day after I brought her home. She isn't AKC. She is a sister of my friend. The mom and dad are all there at the house. The seemed healthy, and cheerful and all the puppies {4} were all seemingly good. No one mentioned to my Basil had a bowel problem. But I have spoke through the breeders sister my co worker and then it got back to the breeder every week. She has know since day one. But that is the second time she heard my voice since I brought Basil home.

Your poor little baby! I don't have experience with what Basil is going through, but my little girl had an anal tumor when she was about twelve years old. Although Ashley had an enlarged heart and it was risky to put her through surgery, it was causing her pain and therefore not an option to forego surgery. It is a delicate area for surgery and we were heartbroken seeing Ashley in pain, but it was successful and she lived painfree for another five years after surgery. I hope the breeder helps you and am so glad that you are taking Basil to a specialist. My heart is breaking for both of you.

I am so sorry to see the suffering that poor Basil is going through. I know it is heartbreaking when they are sick because you feel so helpless. I am so glad to hear you are going to a specialist. Finally cleared her colon tonight. Got her 64cc of warm soapy water. Vet says it's ok. She had some massive stuff come out, and plus I put vasaline in there via pinky, and I felt the tightest band in there that I could barely get my pinky in. I didn't force, cause I didn't want to tear anything, but after that the feces came right out. She was in a lot of pain and I was sitting there with the flash light watching her every move. What came out is bigger then her butt hole. It's ridiculous. After that, I scrubbed out the shower with bleach and rinsed it out real good, then i give Basil a nice warm bath and got her all clean. She is sitting in my lap as I type this; drying off. She has had a long night. Thankfully my fiance was willing to help me out with the enema and lube insert. Plus holding her and just bearing her screatches. No call back yet from the breeder, but I got her number in my phone, so she will be hearing from me tomorrow. Well, I got to go blow dry Bay so she doesn't get a cold. Even though she hates it.
