All the drigs have worn off from yesterday, and he is now back to his old self. Ate his breakfast, and chased a few Deer away from the back fence. His bark is louder and deeper! If he was not gray around the face, would not know he is a Senior Citizen. Yesterday, Maxine layed by him on his bed in the Family Room. She really never does that. Almost as if she knew something was wrong with him. They really sedated him incase something was found, they could go right in and do the biopsy. |

:)Glad to hear he is back to his old self and keeping the deer from taking over your yard, lol. As for the gray, you are as young as you think you are, isn't that the saying:confused: or is it as young as you feel? Now I don't remember:rolleyes: |
I checked in today just to see how my favorite big guy is doing. Such wonderful news!!!! I'm so happy for you. :) |

Thank you! :D |
This is so wonderful to hear of Carlos chasing deer and running in the snow. Our prayers are with you and we hope he continues doing great. I have tears in my eyes just telling the good news of Carlos to my husband. |
I was just checking in on Carlo. So glad to hear he is running the deer off and running the snow! What a strong and courageous pup! |
Carlo looks so terrifically cute in your new avatar. :) |

Thank you so much. He is a great looking dog, especially at his age and what he has been thru. We just got back from a 2 mile walk with him. He was walking strong! Maxine got a ride in her carrier, all bundles up. I was not going to go and just sit on the couch and watch Football, but Marge said "Let's go porky", and walked away. I guess that was her suttle hint, so I got up and went. |
Just checking in to see how Carlo is doing. What great news...and he looks great. It's all that love he is getting. Keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers I know first hand how much they help...thanks for yours as Lexi is doing wonderful. Love your avatar picture they are just toooo cute together. Hope you enjoyed your walk...now its time for some football :D Enjoy the rest of the weekend..Hugs Cheryl & Lexi |

I love your new avatar!! |
I love Carlo's story. What an awesome boy. :) |
Just got back from the Bet with Carlo and Maxine. Carlo had a blood test and exam, prior to taking his CEENU Cancer Pill. He weighed a solid and hard 135 pounds, everything normal, blood and liver test outstanding. He will get the pill on WED, and is on a new 6 week schedule. He is one walking miracle. Maxine also went, and I will sadly have to start a thread on her. |
Glad to hear Carlo is doing so well! |
Yay for Carlo, a miracle indeed. Now what's up with Maxine:confused: |
Glad to hear Carlo is doing so well. Did he weigh the same when he was diagnosed? |
I was so happy to see that Carlos is doing great and this is surely a miracle. I am keeping him in my prayers and will pray for Maxine. I do not know what is the matter with her but I am sending prayers her way and for you. Hopefully everything goes well we do not like to hear bad news only wonderful news. Take care of and keep us posted. Susan |

We noticed a lump on Maxines chest, about 1 inch under her neck. Noticed it over the weekend, and since Carlo had a scheduled Appointment, figured we would also take Maxine and the vet would see her also. The Vet took an Aspirate to look at the cells on a slide. The first one showed hardly any cells, so she did it again. Same result, so she said if it was her dog, she would have it removed, as it seems to be attached to the chest muscle, and is pretty hard. We have Maxine scheduled for surgery on Thursday, Feb 10 at 8 am and they will send the lump out to see what it is identifued as, and take it from there. Marge is pretty upset, but I am keeping a brave face on for her, but it is also affecting me. We hope it is nothing. Maxine is almost 14, and in great health outside of her night vision deteriorating. One good deal after another it seems. While she is under, they will also clean her teeth. |

Steve, I just replied on your other post about Maxine. My thoughts and prayers are with your whole family, especially Maxine, and hope this turns out to be nothing. Hugs to all! |
Oh, so happy about Carlo; but upset about Maxine. :( Prayers for your little princess. Often these things are benign Steve....I so hope this is. |
As I said in Maxine's thread I will be saying prayers for her as well as Carlo's continued recovery and good health. |
Steve, Good to hear about Carlo and how things are going so well. Will keep Maxine in my thoughts and prayers and please give your wife our best regards and tell her we are all sending positive thoughts for this surgery on your sweet girl. |
Very happy to hear Carlo continues to do very well! He is an inspiration. Tell him to look after his little sister. |
