That's great news. Carlo is a fighter. |

Keep up the fight, Carlo. |
Carlo just swolled his 3rd CEENU Chemo Pill. Blood test next week, and then in a dew weeks into the specialist for a Scan to see what the growth looks like, and then a pill every 6 weeks. So far, so good. He was outside slip sliding away on the ice and snow, running around the property like a kid. |
I will pray for good news for Carlo next week and the weeks that follow. I have said it before, but it should be said again, Carlo is an amazing guy. Way to go big guy! :) |
Carlo had a blood test and exam today, one week after his CEENU Chemo Pill. Overall looks good. Now have to call the Specialist and get him in for an Ultrasound and X-Ray of his Liver, chest and Stomach/Intestines and see if the pills have helped. If so, he will get a CEENU pill now every 4-6 weeks, if not, I will have to make a decision on where to go from here. |

I am glad it looks good. I will continue to pray for Carlo's recovery. :) I have fallen in love with this big guy. xoxo to Carlo |
Thank you My friends. |
Carlo is amazing! Love that guy! :) Continued prayers for him and for you, Marge and Maxine! |
Thanks for all the updates. I'm glad to hear Carlo is still spunky and having fun in the snow. |
It's great to know he's doing so well. He is obviously a fighter. |
Good for Carlo! Sending good vibes his way.:) |
Just returned from the Specialty Vet. Did Blood Work, X-Ray and Ultrasound. There is no sign of Cancer Anywhere....his liver, where it was, is now clean. Nothing in the GI Tract....A Miracle. That CEENU did the trick. He is now on it every 6 weeks, same dose as a Human Male. He still has not gotten his Sea Legs back, and is tired from them knocking him out. He is now resting in Marge's Office, It gets harder each time for me to lift his 140 pounds into the SUV. |
So glad to hear about Carlo's test results. Wow 140 pounds he is a big boy. Those must be some really long sea legs to get underneath you Carlo. Definitely not a pocket puppy. Buster and I send you best wishes and prayers that the good results continue. |

Btw, at 140 lbs, does he think he's a lap dog? Many big dogs will swear they're lap dogs :p. |

What great news. I really admire you and Marge for hanging in there with him and taking a chance to help your big guy. I know it can be a sacrifice, but he sounds like a wonderful companion and well worth it. :animal-pa |
Oorah Carlo!! Adapt & Overcome...... Great Job!! Blessing to Steve, Marge and Maxine for all you have endured with Carlo. May you be blessed with more good news through the coming year. |
Thank you for the well wishes. He has a will to live, and has handled it all real well. I was stunned when the Doc came into the room after all the tests and told me no cancer. To be honest, I was hoping that it was no worse, and had not started in another organ. He is still a bit out of it. They really sedatedhim just in case the Photo's discovered anything, they could immediately do a Biopsy. |
I am so happy about Carlo's great report. The extra time that Carlo has been given by his family, who dearly love him, is truly precious. I hope that you, Marge, Carlo, and Maxine have many blessings throughout the year with much love, health, and happiness too. |
What a wonderful way to start the New Year!!!! I am so happy to hear that Carlo is in remission. That is awesome! Talk about a miracle! :D:thumbup: |
Great News! Thanks for sharing Carlo with us. :) |
