Will be keeping Carlo in my thoughts. I haven't met the bug fella yet, but I think I'm already in love with his handsome face. Steve, you and your wife are doing your very best for him, and I know Carlo knows this and appreciates your efforts. Give him a big hug and kiss for me ok?

Carlo went in for a blood test today. His White Blood Count in back to normal (went up from 2,000 to 13,000), now his platelet count is a bit low. He will get another test next Monday at the Specialist and will also receive an X-Ray and Ultrasound. So far he is bouncing back from the last Chemo Pill.

Thank God there is some good news for you, as you must be emotionally worn out by all the crazy events of the weekend.

That sounds like good news. I will keep Carlo in my prayers. He's very special to us around here.:)

Just got home with Carlo from the Cancer specialist. CBC all normal. GHP all within acceptable limits. Thoractic Radiographs all normal. Absominal Ultrasound unremarkable and no evidence of the previously identified hepetic mass and no other evidence of intra-abdominal neoplasia.

He gets another Chemo Pill in 3 1/2 weeks, and then goes back to the specialist in 3 months for the same tests, and to his regular vet before and after the Chemo pill for blood work. No restrictions, so we will be going for walks again soon. Not sure if it was the Domitor or Tobugesic that has him with no sea legs!

The old guy is a wonder and very strong. He is a bit loopy now. Had to lift him into the Vehicle which is no easy matter now for this old guy.

Yay, Carlo is the *Come Back Kid*..... he keeps bouncing back when the going gets tough. Keep it up Carlo:thumbup:

I am just thrilled for Carlo.....you are amazing "big guy"! Steve, this is such good news, that had to lift your spirits for sure. He's a lucky trooper to have a dad like you! :thumbup:

Thank you. He is a tough dog for sure. He is still pretty much out of it. Did not even want a treat. Just looked at me. In a few hours, he will snap out of it and be his old self. He will get another cancer pill CEENU in 3 1/2 weeks. At least his WBC and Platelet count is back to normal.

He is a testament to his caregiver! Most would have put him down but you have really given him your all. I commend your love and responsiveness to him.

Carlo went in for an Exam and Blood Test this morning. Physically, he is terrific, Great heart and lungs. Blood Test (CBC and Liver) came back normal, so tomorrow he will receive he 6 week CEENU, the Chemo pill.

I am always so happy to hear when Carlo gets a good report. You have a family of three unique, very loved pups, and I enjoy seeing your photos and hearing all of your stories of them. It's funny how attached we get to pups we don't personally know, but I know I really care about your "little ones."
