![]() You are confused because you don't know what it is. You will find out soon and hopefully it will be something quite simple. ![]()

So it is not that he gets them when he is still, but he is still because he feels it it starting.

Donating YT 10K Club Member | ![]() I agree. A friend's dog suffers from seizures. The dog knows when one is beginning and goes to my friend to pick her up.

| ![]() Yes i've thought of that and not really sure how i can tell the difference. But he never stops what he's doing at the moment to have an episode. Not sure here.

| ![]() It's encouraging and puts me in a dilemma. The Sentinel remains in his body for at least 15 days. I can't stop testing everything else, assuming its the Sentinel. But that sure would be amazing.

I'm just hoping it is from the Sentinel and will go away.

| ![]() Again, I believe the key question here is: "are these seizures that he is having?"

| ![]() Also, my seizure dog never has seizures while she is awake and doing something. They always seem to happen when she is resting. Her seizures are also VERY few and far between. I am strict about her diet and read every label on every food or treat she gets. She isn't on medication either.

| ![]() Here is another episode. I know it's very dark. He was playing, sat down, had an episode and ran back off to play. I will continue filming as much as possible. Now that i review this again it actually looks like he was busy at the time scratching. This is all so difficult for us.

| ![]() Our Mikki (2 y.o.) has seizures since about 1 1/2 years. She then comes to one of us and we kind of feel that she is having one and pick her up. Then she gets stiff, shakes and whimpers and her irises are very wide. Nobody knows where those seizures come from and we went to several vets. We suspect that she hit her head very hard one time and that her brain got a 'scar' (Mikki is our wild child.) The episodes last about 1 to 3 minutes and it helps when we cover her eyes. We could not detect the trigger for it so far and since the seizures are about 2 to 5 weeks apart we just live with it. She gets no medication for it b/c our vet said that the side effects to the meds would be far worse than the occassional seizure. Besides that Mikki is a happy and healthy girl and seems not to be affected by her episodes. We hope and pray that your baby grows out of those episodes and becomes a happy healthy fur baby!!! |

I just want to comment you for stay so calm throughout all this. I know that you have been bombarded with advice here. I think you are smart to wait for the results of Max's BAT, then take it from there. You should have the results back Monday or Tuesday, right? Have you heard anything back from his breeder? I would expect a breeder to be very worried about a puppy with his symptoms and keep in constant touch.
