just put the sample in the fridge until tomorrow it will be fine until you get it in there. also try pill pockets, my kids think they are treats and eat em up without noticing the pill in the middle. they move like peanut butter around the pill and they don't notice them.

If her poops are thin then that means her intestines are inflamed and dogs can have high lipase and amylase with IBD episodes too and IBD dogs have thin poops as it is inflammatory bowel disease. Dogs can also test high on cpli test too with ibd. They can have diarrhea with pancreatitis but more common to have vomitting - sounds like large intestines are the issue since diarrhea.

What is cpli? Is that on the bloodwork? I don't see those letters on here. Or is it a different test altogether?

cpli is the most accurate test for pancreatitis. Lipase and Amylase gives you some indication but most accurate is cpli. It is a separate add on to blood work. I would not do it at this point but if she does get worse then I would do that add on if they run blood work again. http://www.vet.uga.edu/vpp/clerk/west/index.php Last edited by dwerten; 06-16-2010 at 05:57 PM.
