Yes, he's still in a coma, but has made some movements, so he may be beginning to come out of it.

| Now I'm confused. When did it become a requirement to have vet records reviewed and approved or validated by a YT member before posting on this forum to seek help and to be treated fairly, with equal respect given freely to most everyone else? I emailed the OP and I apologized to her for the treatment she received on here and I told her that as a result of some responses, I am embarrassed to be a member here. I am now in tears thinking of what this poor woman has been through. Criticism of her posting... she's sitting in a chair, with her dying pup in her lap, trying to type one-handed, so excuse the typos and run on sentences. Then she's immediately slammed repeatedly... already at her wit's end at not being able to get a diagnosis on her pup, and is accused of lying and not seeking treatment appropriately or self diagnosing and self medicating? What was she supposed to do? Not medicate and let her pup die? Which I guarauntee you would have happened a while ago. I really love YT, and I feel more good is done here than bad, but I can't comprehend, for the life of me, why some feel they have to cause so much more addition pain and anguish to people who are already in a bad way and just seeking some kind of assisstance or support from the members here. You (in general) can no better tell if someone is untruthful in posts than I can, and I really don't care. That is not why I'm here. My concern is for the pups that need help and to try my best to get any pup the help it needs. I do give all posters the benefit of the doubt... because one never really knows, and the ones that will be hurt in the end are the innocent pups, if, by chance, the posters seeking help are being truthful. Maybe it's because some members have never experienced less than perfect vet care, I don't know. But I'll tell you now, I have been there, and it is not a good place to be. Put every bad emotion in a bag, with financial strain/drain, along with frustration, anger, sadness, grieving (as one would grieve a death), love for your pup and mix it all up that is what one feels when their dog is not diagnosed correctly, plus the dog is still sick. And you worry how much time is left before your baby dies, how much money is left, where to get more, how much more will you need, pup is getting worse, where do I go next? This is it... and many end up here on YT. And, no, their story may be a bit off, bc after all they've been through, and the emotional drain, they can't even think straight, much less type correctly. Is it any wonder they can't? And they come here and are thought of as being dishonest and untruthful? There is evidence of inappropriate vet care in many threads here on YT, just as there is evidence of truly exceptional vet care. Aren't we here to help owners weed through things so their pups can get the treatment they need to be healthy?

| Congratulations you guys, where would world be without you? On this Christmas Day perhaps you two are the real saviors. I am appalled by your posts. I will not be commenting on the majority of garbage you both just wrote. I will say one thing only - those sitting with dying pups in their laps with one hand on the keyboard should be at a vet's office. I can tell you that I would be running down the road and stop at nothing if that were my dog. I would certainly not be sitting on a forum with my dying dog in my lap and yes I feel sadness and compassion for someone with such poor judgment. This is not about the OP who is not even here posting, it's about you two and your mission to be elevated to greatness.

| I'd also like to point out that if not for us raising all of these concerns, the OP would not have gone back to the vet and pressed the issues!!

Yep. If it means that certain people must continue their mission to bash vets, I guess the trade off is a good one....little Mickey FINALLY got to a vet for the appropriate care and is getting treatment. Again, prayers for Mickey. This will be my last post in this thread because I can see the forest for the trees. I do know what is going on in the background....this has been a theme for a certain time period that many people DO get.

Yes, in fact, I did notice the OP left a while ago. But you keep coming here for assistance and to talk about the OP yet when we try to ask questions we are berated and harassed and now you are talking down about the entire YT forum, which is not very supportive or compassionate and is in fact being an internet bully! You are not the reason for the answer, because you said AAI or Chiari like you do on all threads - that and the tea bag remedy is your staple answer. You think every dog has AAI or Chiari and the fact is if a neurologist saw this dog a rule out diagnosis for vestibular disease is GME, again, easily dx'd by spinal tap. You are disparaging the veterinary profession and I'm tired of it.
