Still no word back from the vet about the aspiration results!!!! Im starting to really freak out about this!

It could take awhile. You could always call the vet and ask them how long it takes, that way you won't be waiting by the phone needlessly. I would think it would take atleast a week, depending on how far he had to send it etc.

I actually have confirmation that the results are in. The Dr just hasn't had time to call me. I asked if I could get the results from someone else and they paged the Dr who said no, he wants to speak to me himself...

This worries me even more.. Am I overanalyzing or does anyone else see this as a reason to worry?

I dont know, but he is killing me with worry... They have had results in since noon today and he has yet to call me. I think its a little ridiculous, specially if its something he needs to talk tome about himself. I have called him about 4 times today and he hasnt come to the phone, I dont know if I should even ther calling again.

Thank you, all prayers are appreciated. I just don't really know what to do or think at this point. It's impossible to not think the worst when the doctor wont let anyone else read me the results.

Toby, Lola and I are all praying that things are just fine. I have to say I think it's pretty rotten of your vet to make you wait on this!

Thank you. THe worst part is he is not really my actual vet. I just moved into town and I went to a vet in my neighborhood who reffered me to him because he is a specialist surgeon. Its my first time working with him. He is supposed to be really good at what he does but this is ridic. I mean Im finding comfort in the idea that if it was something serious he would have likely made it more of a pointto communicate earlier rather than later. But I dont know the mind raises. Anyone have similar experiences?

I agree, it does seem like if it was serious he would make more of an effort to talk to you, but I also know how my mind would be racing right now. I would keep calling and calling - until you get some answers. I feel so bad for you right now. Give your baby hugs for us

Yeah thats what I plan on doing. I just called again now, apparently he is still in the same surgery but he assures me he will call me when he is done which will be later in the evining. I told them I plan to keep calling cause I know Dr's have long days and can forget when its time to go home..

My mind is just going everywhere specially cause he wont let someone else read me the results. I mean I know it may just be standard practice or he might want to explain certain things to me... but if I could get the results my vet at home (who at this point I trust more) would be able to give me his interpretation as well.. which is better then where i am right now.

Thanks again for all your prayers!! Anyone with any thoughts or opinions on the subject feel free to share! At this point anything helps!

Oh believe me, after this wait and torture.. Im making him go into detail about everything I dont know...

Is anyone on here in the NYC area that might be able to shed some light or other experiences with this Dr?
