				 | Every Yorkie owner should be aware of the symptoms of HGE as immediate veterinary care can mean the difference between life and death: Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis (HGE) |

				 | HGE is very easily diagnosed it is tied to the red blood cell count - if it is high it is hge as the blood is coagulating in the body thus will shut down the organs in the body as the blood stops moving freely in the body so everything is stopped. The first sign is thick raspberry red poop as the blood is coagulated again. It happens rapidly so dog can die within 48 hrs. It is tied to coming in contact with dead animals and can be caused from eating raw meat so make sure if you feed raw you get quality organic meat from a reliable source to not get this along with salmonella or ecoli |

				 | Kathy, I haven't seen this until now. I'm so sorry that Winston is sick. I hope he's doing better. Now that I know, I'll be sending prayers and watching for an update. I know how hard this is on you to watch and feel helpless. Ginger and Bernie send get well wishes to their buddy. Please feel better, Winston.

				 | Does anyone have her phone number or live close enough to visit? I am really getting worried as well. I used to have her phone number, but I've changed phones since then and don't have it any more.
