Winston's so sick...and I'm so sad Winston and I could use some YT miracle prayers. He's been a very sick little man...vomitting...no appetite...massive bloody stools...(very scary), and of course hypoglycemic seizures. He really hasn't eaten anything since Wednesday morning. I give him NutriCal to keep his blood sugar up, the vet suggested baby food, he ate maybe a teaspoon of that tonight. I'm afraid I'm going to have to start force feeding him if he doesn't start eating something soon. I did give him a little canned pumpkin on my finger tip. He's got an antibiotic he's suppose to take after meals...but he's not eating. He also has Carafate to calm his tummy, but the vet said to feed him first because she wants the food to be absorbed well...but he's not eating. I'm frustrated and worried. He has seen his regular vet and also his Internist. I'll get blood test results tomorrow...I hope and pray they come back within normal limits. He just seems so exhausted, yet restless. My poor baby, I hate to see him like this...he has never had digestive issues in the past. Please pray for Winston to feel better soon...I'm scared for him. |
Bless his heart! Winston, and you will be in my prayers. Please keep us updated. |
Poor thing.Do you think rice, no salt no oil, and a bit a boiled chicken is something he'll want to eat? Rice is astringent and boiled chicken is very enticing. Praying for a fast recovery |
Does the vet think it's pancreatitis? If so give him digestive enzymes, open the cap and sprinkle a tiny bit on some white rice mixed with a tiny bit of chicken baby food. |
I'm sorry to hear that Winston is so sick. I certainly will keep him and you in my prayers. :hands: |

Can you check with your Vet/Internist to see if it would be okay to try a liquid nutritional supplement, "Dogsure"? Hugs & I hope Winston makes a rapid & full recovery! :hearts6::getwellso:hearts6: |

Oh no! :( Winston buddy! Get well very soon. Listen to your mommy and eat something. Huge hugs to you and Winston, Kathy.:hands::big_hug: |
Any reason why he isn't on an IV at the vet's? It could be pancreatitis and in that case, he shouldn't be eating anything... |
Poor Winston, hope today he's feeling better. It truly sounds like pancreatitis to me. I would think the vet would hook him up to fluids via I.V. Sending prayer's your baby's way. Hope today is a better one for both of you. |
Poor baby, sending prayers for you both, Winston get well soon sweet boy:( |
Prayers coming :) Poor baby... If you have to, you can force Children's Vanilla Pedisure too |
Oh Kathy, poor Winston :(! This sounds very concerning, but I know you\'ll get to the bottom of it. Do you think it could be pancreatitis? I\'ll be watching and hoping for a good update. Lots of hugs to you and dear Winston. |
