| awww, I'm so glad everything went well. I'm sure his "brothers" will be all over him....wondering what those new smells are. Don't let them razz him about his new 'do though. Hugs to little Jack. I hope they gave him some good drugs.

| Oh my...... just reading this for the first time... Poor little Jack! I am glad that the surgery went well. Hopefully his recovery time will be minimal, and he will feel better once he gets in his own bed. You will have to spoil the heck outta him for awhile! (Maybe a new soft sweater to cover that little bare butt). Please keep us updated and lots of Get Well wishes for Jack.

| Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | He's home! I panicked when I picked him up because he whined quite a bit in the kennel, and I was afraid he was in pain. But as soon as I let him out and held him, he was fine. In fact, shortly afterward he wolfed down a bowl of food and then settled in for a nap. A YTer made this blankie for Jack for his last surgery, and I can't remember for the life of me who it was. But it's coming in handy now.

| Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Jack never ceases to amaze me. He woke up from his nap and acted like nothing was wrong. Went outside and lifted his leg on the tree for a looong time, then came back in and wanted treats. I gave him a bunch. Eddie's behaving a little oddly, and when Jack was standing too close to Eddie's toy, Eddie ran by and took the toy and ran off. Jack chastised him with a couple barks. Later, Jack started playing with his Monster and wanted me to throw it for him. I wouldn't go quite that far. He's also been cuddling with Rusty again. I can't imagine doing all that stuff about 15 hours after surgery and just a few hours after being take off his IV>

| I've been out of town and just finished reading this thru.......I'm so glad your little man is doing so well. His haircut reminds me of when Reb had a luxated patella and ruptured tendon repaired - I couldn't believe they had to shave him from the waist down. Does Jack have any one piece pj's?
