| Bella had her second bandage change today. It was starting to heal and the swelling in her foot have gone down tremendously. I think we are safe now and she won't lose her foot. The vet was not sure for a while, he was watching for circulation in toes. Looks really bad but Vet said its healing and if we can keep infection out she will be okay. I did get with the neighbor behind me, they want to handle this without their Home Owners Ins. They brought me a check for 350.00 and asked if I would work with them on the rest. I said of course as long as they kept in touch and secured their fence. My total bill to date is 897.53. I do have to go every 3 days and have it rewrapped. It seems they are stepping up. I'll wait to see if I get anything else. I figured it will probably be around 1200.00 by the time it heals and getting stitches out. I just hope they continue to step up. At least the 350 helps for now. I'll have more picture as her leg heals. Thanks Bella's Momma |

| Good to hear Bella's foot is healing nicely. Has she started to act normal again? Or still traumatized?

| I know is late to reply to your question, but zink oxide in powder, is used in some countries, to heal large missing tissue. Just the powder. Some times it was mixed with powder pinisiline. |

| Gosh, I can't imagine what you were going through. I was so glad you drove her to the vet! You talk about Bella's spunk, but I think her mommy has it too to overcome all that and jump in the car and drive to Houston. We can do amazing things when it comes to helping our babies, can't we. I would definaetly pursue the neighbors dogs. They are a nusance and it sounds like there are too many for one house. Good Luck to you. Give Bella a kiss from the me and my boys. I'm sure she'll be up and running soon! Sounds like your battle may be just beginning! But sounds like you're up for it!

| Hi, This is the first time i have seen this. I read most of the posts, and in tears. It is the first time I've cried over a thread, but just feel so dreadfully sad for your sweet Bella and all that she has endured .I am so sorry this happened to her. Fortunately your neighbors are being resopnsible and handling it the right way. My heart goes out to Bella and you. I am glad she is starting to heal, and on the road to recovery . I hope she will not have any lasting effects or be traumatised from the incident. I will be praying for Bella and her full recovery. I am glad she has a wonderful owner who loves her very much. Many prayers coming yuor way.
