| ![]() there must be an emergency clinic there. Call 911 and ask the operator if she can find you someone. Maybe even a "people" medic can help you. Good luck I feel your desperation and anxiousness. Let me know how you do. Lorraine |

| ![]() Sorry to hear that. I would *think* you could use the same first aid stuff on dogs in small amounts as you would a human... but that is just my thought! Best of luck! |

| ![]() I would also put a clean, dry cloth on it and apply some pressure to lessen the bleeding. Are there any emergency vets in you area?

My little Shadow Donating YT Member | ![]() I've been searching to try to find answers to help you @home. I read not to put peroxide on as it can kill the tissue. A Vet will most likely put her on antibiotic/pain meds. Does she seem to be in alot of pain?

| ![]() You really need to find someone to take you to an emergency vet or there is a real possibility she will lose her leg. Not trying to scare you but infection can set up.. if you wait until Monday, they won't be able to stitch it up. But if there are no other options, yes, you can put triple antibotic or Neosporin on it after you have cleaned it well but you will have to put a bandage on it to keep her from licking the antibotic off. Good luck |

| ![]() I'd wash it real good with soap, cover with triple antibiotic ointment or neosporin, put a strip bandage on it and cover that with something so she doesn't chew it off. Maybe there is a vet open on Saturday a.m.? Pain - gee I don't know what you could give her that won't make it worse except Benydril to relax her and you need liquid baby stuff and just a few drops. Sugar water may help if she's shocky. Advil or Tylenol not good for dogs. Asperin makes it bleed worse. I have used numzit for babies on scratches (for my dogs) but not on anything that deep/bad.
