The 85mm lens on my dream list is the Nikkor 85mm f/1.4G: Ringo1: For those looking for a P & S (point & shoot)...although I am a Nikon-guy the 2 cameras I would seriously look at is the Canon S95 and the Canon G12. Those are probably over your $150 budget, but you do get what you pay for... lisaly: Thank you so much for those links! I agree I love it when fellow photographers give the lighting information... I also normally check out the .exif data and see what settings and lens, f stop and focal length they used. I'll have to find some time to post up my pics...

It has video mode, portrait mode, landscape, close-up, scene (custom), and auto. It's a great little camera. I was going to paste a link here for you, but I can't bc my computer is being a pain and I need to restart it - however, go to Amazon and enter Panasonic Lumix into the search box. ![]() I've been ogling an 85mm for quite some time now, don't they look great? Especially for portraits (but, for anything really)...if you can keep the furs still, that is. Sigh.

If you are buying a camera I would buy a reasonably priced DSLR and purchase the best quality lenses you can afford. You glass is where you need to spend your money.
