Yes, you really can get a good camera for little money. I love my DSLR (Nikon D90), however, sometimes I'm just in the mood for something small and portable. A few years back, before I got my DSLR (and only had a film SLR), I picked up a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX07 for just over $100. I've been ogling an 85mm for quite some time now, don't they look great? Especially for portraits (but, for anything really)...if you can keep the furs still, that is. Sigh.

Well I got something tiny and portable all right ~ I ended up with a new cell phone! We recently moved and had to change providers. It takes pictures BUT . . still gonna need that camera.
