This one fits the shadow theme. I didn't take it, my 18 yr old daughter did. (posted with her permission) The girl in the picture was a surrogate for another couple and wanted to capture the pregnancy in a special way.

This one is of my first surrogate baby I delivered (daughter was 16 and present at the birth)

And these are the surrogate twins I carried and delivered in feb this year.

I personally think my daughters pretty good, but of course I'm a little biased

The hard part is deciding what you NEED to know. Photoshop is so powerful, and if you start learning something too complicated, it might get frustrating.

The person who helped me started with the section on "curves." You can set highlights, blacks, midtones easily.

See, I don't even know what curves are!?!?!> I'm old an was taught to photograph things the way you needed them. We did not have anything to fix mistakes! I might get the CD's and give them a try!

Anyway here is G-man and brother Deemer playing in the mirror. They look wet cause they are in oil.

I am still amazed at what can be done. I wonder sometimes what are we perserving? I know you can't believe any of the pics you see on the internet and in advertising. I still advertise my dogs the way God made them.

Actually the caption would read: "Move girls, This ones mine!"
Only one boy and 3 girls and he seem to be a little pushy and well, maybe I should just leave that! There may be guys on here too!!!!!

Just for fun, I played around with it in photoshop to see what it would look like with a wider range of tones. I'm no expert and I'm not sure I like my worked version any better, but it's fun to play around and see what you can come up with.

First version is photoshopped, second version is original. And I just added a third -- getting rid of the blue tone my worked version picked up.

Cool! I tried to dl Photoshop, but Windows Vistas wouldn't allow it

I have used the free intro program that used to come with new computers, but they don't anymore it seems. Can you do anything with photos that are out of focus... other than delete them?

There is a free program you can download. It's called 'Gimp'. It's supposed to be as good as PS... I haven't fooled around with it yet myself.

So cute, I always wondered what breeders did to keep the female's coat clean/intact after giving birth. I figured for showing purposes you wouldn't cut it, now I know! How cute!

It takes a lot of dedication to keep bitch in show coat! Not only that you have the worry of puppy safty. I usually have all my Mothers cut down so I don't need to worry. Madison is an International Champion and needs a few singles to finish her AKC, so I thought I would try!

I love digital too. I remember a Christmas I was trying to get the perfect picture for my cards and went through SOOO many rolls, the Walmart Assocate called me over the intercom to tell that my pictures were ready, she was so excited to see I finally had one she thought I would like. Now it doesn't matter we can mess up as many as needed and no worries!

Sorry didn't see this post, never got an email. Their father is Am/Brazilian Ch. Orlane-Elan Impromptu, He is such a cutie,

OK, here is my try for shadow. I couldn't get high enough to get the right angle. I think it looks like Gumby as an Indian, LOL. Sorry it's the best I could do. Still running on very little sleep!
