He just got done with his bath, he was so cold from the mud he just sat there!

Nope...

how about trees? you mentioned fall colors but not everyone is in fall at the moment so trees covers it all. Short trees, fat trees, tall trees...

I didn't go very far for tree pictures. The drout here has caused a lot of our trees' leaves to dry up already. We won't have a lot of color this fall. My pictures are of a little seedling big tree wanna be. It is trying so hard to be bold and beautiful. The close up shows the heat damage. The other tree is an old cottonwood tree in our back yard. (we always wished we would have cut this tree down when we built, because it expells the most annoying cotton in the spring but it provides a lot of shade.)

LOVE those shots! Even the tiny shrub of fall colors is different.

That last tree shot is amazing. I love the angle, but I can't quite figure out how you got it! I originally thought the picture was upside down!

This is up in Leelanua by Traverse City.. Its so pretty there in The Fall.

Mike you are good! I layed in the grass directly under the tree but with my head close to the trunk of the tree so upside down if you will. I actually rotated it thinking it looked silly this way, then left it because that was how I took it.

Brenda, that is some gorgeous scenery. Just beautiful!

Oh, wow, that's gorgeous. I had a friend years ago from Traverse City, but I never saw any pictures. Beautiful!

And Cha Cha, THANK YOU for the explanation. I couldn't figure it out. Very clever of you, and it came out terrific. You would have laughed if you saw me turning my head upside down in the middle of the office so I could see if it looked different the other direction!

This tree is in the North GA Mountains at Ruby Falls. It's growing out of a rock. I think it looks like a giraffe sitting down.

That's incredible. The resilience of trees never ceases to amaze me.

Well, after two days of bright sunshine, today is dark and gloomy. Here are a few tree theme attempts. I like the idea of Eddie popping out between the trees. I think I'll try in better light.

The closeup of bark looks like a bird to me.

The yellow leaf was kinda boring, so I tried making rest of pic B&W.

It does look giraffish... don't think that's a word, but I'll use it anyway. I wonder if it split the rock.

Love these. I'm one of the weird people that likes the cottonwood trees. Its looks so neat when all those fluff balls are floating around in the spring.

LOL, what do YOU see in the Rorschach???

I couldn't get either Eddie or Jillie to sit and wait by the trees, so I hid his nose work tin there and told him to find it. Worked like a charm.
