| Saffron rice, black beans, tortilla chips, cilantro, salsa, sour cream (lots of sour cream!), chicken and onions and tapatio and a tortilla here and there with spicy jalapeņo carrots. Had to be followed with hot mint tea and scrabble though

| A few bites of Buffalo Wings Mild and 1/2 slice thin-crust Extra-Pepperoni Pizza with red onions delivered right to my front door! I've got so much to go in the freezer it's not funny but I'll have lots of pizza and chicken leftovers for the next week!

| I picked the chicken we butchered and roasted this week and made a gravy from the drippings, I will make a broth with the remainder and hopefully we will have a nice rainy soup night this week I took the chicken and the gravy and mixed it with peas, corn, carrots and green beans, topped it with mashed potatoes and baked it in my cast iron skillet (made a vegetarian version for my daughters in a smaller cast iron) my sweet love prepared cucumbers, tomatoes, onions and purple cabbage to grace leafy colorful greens coated in pepper and Blue cheese and yum, what a great dinner to come in and have after the very last light slipped away working hard in the garden

| Take out Chinese been a big day finishing the goose house and bringing home our eight new baby geese (a future dinner I look forward to telling you about) was grateful that dinner for eight came in a few brown paper sacks already hot. But it was home grown fried young rabbit last night with fresh onion and pepper covered salad...mmmm.
