Thank you! I'm a very proud Mum. He really is a total package...tall, handsome, very smart, cooks, cleans up after himself and he loves Yorkies! ZoE is totally smitten with him! She's snuggled with him every night he's been home.

He just graduated college and has a few weeks off until he starts his new job.

Sally, thanks for the great suggestion. I have hot chocolate, whipped cream and big marshmallows. Cadbury's Flake is not familiar to me. Chocolate is my favorite but I dont remember ever seeing that kind. Cadbury eggs are a favorite as are the bars.

:D Cadburys Flake - same scrummy chocolate but all crumbly and delish...!!! :D www.cadburys.co.uk/products/Flake-2384

We stick them in soft ice-cream....anywhere, really!!!

Lovely looking son, Karan - and your dinner looks scrummy, too!! :D

I know you're so proud of both your children, and rightly so :)

yorkietalkjilly 01-06-2015 12:33 PM

Beef soup and crackers from a can w/crackers and ketchup on top. Lately I love crackers and ketchup on top of my soup.

rhondah 01-06-2015 04:27 PM

BBQ chicken and roasted potatoes:)

Harrysmum 01-06-2015 04:36 PM

It's gone midnight here and I'm still up (Andy's still feeling rubbishy, fast asleep and snoring his head off ) so I've just had 2 toasted crumpets, smothered in butter, then melted with cheese - not a very good recipe for a good night's sleep for me, either?!!? :D

gemy 01-09-2015 02:50 PM

Thin crust homemade pizza. Pesto sauce - roasted red peppers, goat cheese asiago and mozarrella cheese, with shrimp scallops and parlsey on top.

Pretty yummy But I think I spent more than what Pizza Pizza would charge me for a large pizza lol

Christinee 01-09-2015 02:51 PM

Subway montery chicken melt.. My new fav.

Did pretty good most of the day...a bowl of cereal and two cups of coffee in the morning, then I went to go grocery shopping and took only my six year old (which is special time for us) so we stopped at a coffee shop and I had a Carmel vanilla latte and grilled chicken breast pieces with hummus, pita, English cucumbers, lettuce and cherry tomatoes...but then, right after grocery shopping and somewhere inbetween putting away food and making dinner the 'Orion's special request' circus frosted animal cookies came out- you know, the pink and white ones? I forgot that I loved those! :embar: and the kids couldn't wait for dinner, I had been away too long and so I made them hotdogs (another unhealty long term love affair since I can remember, especially polish but these were just Hebrew national) so by the time dinner was made I must've been fifteen animal cookies and a mayonnaisey (eek! A beloved food staple of mine. Best foods only.) hot dog into it already!

I baked cheesy buttery garlic biscuits to go with our spinach blend salad and steak but after my pre-dinner trespasses I couldn't finish my dinner... Still managed to eat two biscuits though! Lol.

Christinee 01-12-2015 07:35 PM

I'm too ashamed to say. LOL

hahah - no I don't know if it is working or not - I've made an apt for Friday so I can talk to someone about addressing the root cause of the problem instead of just dealing with what I believe to be a symptom so that maybe I can one day enjoy hot sauce again

what kind of hot sauce anyway!!!:p do you want me to send you some Mad Dog 357?

Usually posting my daily food trespasses on Yorkie talk helps me track my food intake and make positive food choices :) my accidental dietary log! (Well you know, sometimes I'm tracking cheeseburgers lol...)

Lilah Charm 01-15-2015 07:15 PM

Oh, if I only had pictures to share of my amazing breakfast! :) my love took me out to edgefield's black rabbit restraunt  (purdy fancy shmancy and sans our six kids) very early this morning- beautiful hanging stained glass lamps and classical music, everything there is so lovely- and I had 'norwegian eggs' which was basicly salmon eggs Benedict (the salmon was in lox form) with delicious well seasoned roasted potatoes topped with sour cream and chives with a bowl of sweet fresh fruit and berries on the side and of course a cup of coffee, yum!

For lunch I suppose I had a Carmel latte and then for dinner I had two burritos comprised of grilled chicken and onions with sour cream, salsa, fine diced purple onions, fresh lettuce and diced tomatoes- it was so good but er...maybe i only needed one ;)

Harrysmum 01-16-2015 01:50 PM

After all that - I'm soooo boring!!!...chicken breast wrapped in pancetta and covered with mushrooms + Stilton - roasted with potatoes, onions + garlic + tomatoes 'on the vine'...very tasty, though! :D

gemy 01-16-2015 05:15 PM

Chicken burritos with sour cream - so very yummy, and fattening. Sigh.

lynzy420 01-17-2015 06:38 AM

Oops! I thought I was doing good, lol. Well, especially compared to this mornings breakfast!

One of my favorite things to make is crepes! So this morning for my family of eight (well the human part of our family anyhow, lol- no lilah didn't get crepes!) I made crepe after crepe and filled them with sour cream, cottage cheese and strawberry jam and topped them with freshly whipped heavy cream and powdered sugar, I also made fried red potatoes with onions and garlic, sour cream and tapatio an of course never without a good stout cup of coffee nearby :cup: eek! I thought I was being health concious and conservative not adding sausage to the potatoes or making bacon (which I usually do) I guess maybe not but oh what a fun treat to make for the kids!

Harrysmum 01-18-2015 09:10 AM

:) Oh yum yum, everyone....:D

We've just had roast boneless chicken thighs :p - but stuffed with sausage + spiced apple....roast potatoes, leeks in cheese sauce, peas and sweetcorn, with lots of 'our' onion gravy....soooo full up (but can't wait for pud ) xx

Oh melt! Chicken stuffed with sausage is my favorite- but especially with such delicious sides! Yum yum yum...so beats my dinner of peppered popcorn chicken and sweet potatoe fries, um...vegetables anyone? Lol...

yorkietalkjilly 01-23-2015 04:35 PM

Needed to comfort myself so I made myself a whole quart casserole dish of butter-laden mashed potatoes last night and have been chowing down on them with lunch and dinner today! Yummy.

gemy 01-23-2015 05:06 PM

So I think I ate somewhat healthier. Indian Food! Salmon Tikka Masala, with Nann - carrots, and yellow beans! Woohoo so tasty!
