:D Thank you Alyssa...it's good to be back (well, on the way back anyway eek! :)). Sorry to hear about you having to watch what you're eating - yucky for such a lovely foodie! Of course it's difficult - but worth it, of course :) Now I hate to say this, but I've just had a toasted hot cross bun, covered in raspberry jam...and then topped with clotted cream ice cream  Sorry! :D xx |
Corned beef sandwich with swiss cheese, cole slaw and lots of russian dressing on an onion roll from a local deli. DELICIOUS! |
dinner is spaghetti with garilic bread... I hope it is yums. I had an apple and swiss cheese melt for lunch |
Oh my goodness Jeannie! it's a good thing sweets aren't what get me salivating! Lol, that is one heck of a creation :) Sally- your sweet treat sounds delicious but it's max dogs corned beef sandwich and coleslaw that has me pining.... Onion roll?! Yum!! When I was seven I did yard work to earn money for deli potato salad- it is all I wanted and I bought it :) Today I had a cup of coffee, a peanut butter and jelly with goldfish crackers (took the kids to the park, had to eat kid food) and two Oreo cookies. Later I had a Carmel latte and a tomato sandwich with toasted garlic sourdough bread, mayonnaise, onions and lettuce. |

Well despite my good morning food, I'm afraid dinner turned out to be two hot dogs (very mayonnaisey, ketchup for sure and with mustard this time- no onions though) some handfuls of crackers and another Oreo cookie. The real sin here?...I served my man a salmon fillet, sweet potato and salad- I should've had that. Hotdogs are my weakness. We went to another park and let the kids play and walked lilah until it got dark...it felt like summer...hot dog weather ya know? It smelled like warm air and late nights and memories....start again tommorow! |

Roast chicken, jacket potatoes, parsnips and yellow beans with gravy! Yums. lots of chicken left over for training treats, then I will make a chicken salad, and have some sliced chicken left over for sandwhiches. :-) 2 meals and a few lunches too! |
I threw caution to the wind....deviled ham salad sandwich and potato chips........ |
I certainly hope this is not a diet thread! LOL because in reviewing my entries I only eat non dietey food. I am thinking it is a *foodie* thread |

Grilled cheese sandwich, fries and lots of sliced pickles. |
Cheese and onion bread roll with honey baked ham and salad. |
I had 1/4 of a toasted tomatoe and cheese sandwhich. Why 1/4 you ask? My Dara gal when I went into the kitchen to get my coffee snatched up the rest! Bad Bad girl. |
Sandwich LOL! She lucked out! |
Boy did she ever! Dara sought for and foraged herself some dinner! Dogdom applauds her. |
Ooh...bad doggy :( the level of protection that my children request when they ha I get up to use the restroom or get a glass of water is amazing! "Can you save this mom?.." Turning thir head back around ready to viciously attack any sibling who thought they were going to snag a roll off their plate...lol! You would think we had a BRT running around the house :) lilah would probably like to be so bold but she is not (at least not when we are watching). Just had to eat two salads cause 250 calories was not going to hold me til dinner! The first one was arugula with goat cheese, vinagrette and dried fruit and nuts the second was chicken Cesar, very yummy! |
Salad greens with cucumber, red onion, avacado, mushrooms, and sliced hard boiled egg.....then drizzled it lightly with Maries Cole Slaw Sauce..... |
Italian sweet sausage, fried onion & potatoes, I need an Alka-Seltzer, I can't believe I ate the whole thing. |

Dogdom maybe - mommydom NOPE! She got chased into her crate for that one! Me growling and stamping my feet! As compared to angelish Magic who was laying by the plate with nary a care in the world...*he knew who was the bad one (that time). And we are now working on re-training LEAVE IT - sandwhich on plate etc etc - and reviewing never go for the food in my hand if I have my hand down by my side - or low down in front of tummy. Mimicing how kids will hold out food. |

1 Attachment(s) I think that is so smart doing that silly lackluster elbow of ignorance where a young kid holds their delectable chicken leg down :) good thinking! Lol, I love the secretly smug magic face that I have pictured in my mind! Raisin bran for breakfast, breakfast burrito for lunch, peanut butter and jelly with goldfish crackers for dinner. Tonight we are having a 'frozen' party and we will eat frozen cereal (pretty much lucky charms) while watching frozen with glow sticks- I will have to put lilah in her Elsa dress I made her! |

And I must confess I have never tasted a goldfish cracker in my life.. Elsa's dress is beautifull ... And you are one talented lady to sew that for her! |
Old fashioned Smucker's Natural Peanut Butter(roasted peanuts and salt) and Grape Jam sandwich. PB&J just as good as it was when I ate them after school. Alyssa, love the Frozen theme set. Lilah is beautiful. |
