| i've had that before!! the bread is interesting and tastes yummy. some of the items they put onto the bread are questionable. it had lamb, not very cooked fish, raw ground beef (yes i tried it) and many other interesting things on it. i loved the salad but not much of the meats. too soupy and undercooked for me. |

| I LOVE morels! I've never had them fresh, only reconstituted. They can get pretty expensive.

| Ok well here's some foods that I've eaten....that I think is Bizzare/Gross: My family is from the Caribbean so we're not so adventurous when it come to food. But there's this thing called blood pudding...I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. Its like cow blood, or pigs blood with rice & seasoning in a intestine casing....I mean its addicting! I know earlier in the thread someone mentioned something about black pudding in Northern England....I wonder if its the same as this? There's another dish called "cook-up rice" & its pigs snout, pigs feet, pigs ears, and salt beef with rice....its really good. I just love the fatty, rubbery texture on the feet! Lol. Then there's something called "chop-chop" & its Ocra & spinach or callard greens....I'm not sure...but its bitter & slimy....I CAN'T STAND IT! it looks like sea weed.& idk what it is but Caribbean people LOVE to eat fish eyes! YUCK!...that's not for me. & last but not least my obsession with eatin veins from chickens & fish spines. Idk if that's Bizzare....or just plain weird. But hey I love it. fried chicken, baked chicken....any kind of cooked chicken....I PURPOSELY pluck out the vein & save it for last. I know....its gross.P.s. I love Tripe! |

That would be morcilla Blood Sausage. My family would go nuts over it. At the Fiestas, Carnivals, we would also buy cups full of pigs ears with hot sauce. I remember picking the hair off the ear. lol...Now you know why I dont eat meat. lol. | |

Cook up rice sounds promising! I love the fatty texture too, which is why I love tendon bc it's got the soft melt in your mouth texture of fat, but it's not fat! ![]() About veins, chicken veins kind of creep me out. I pluck them out and throw them away, but fish veins don't bother me and I actually like to eat the fish brains. I mentioned earlier in this thread I used to have a thing for fish eyeballs, but not since my sis embarrassed me in front of everyone, I have not had them since! I do like to eat deep fried shrimp heads though. Like in the salt and pepper shrimp you get at chinese restaurants, they fry the whole shrimp with the shell on. Everyone always peels the shells and throw away the heads, but they are fried so hard you can eat it all and the head is the best part! One of my fave shrimp dishes is honey walnut shrimp. Doesn't sound bizarre, but it's shrimp (meat part only, ok? lol) battered and deep fried, cover with a sweet mayonnaise sauce, on a bed of raw shredded cabbage (for looks?), topped with candied honey walnuts and sesame seeds. Calorie overload! yummy! Besides lobster or crab (or shark fin soup) it's always the most expensive thing at a chinese restaurant. $14+ ![]() "chop chop" sounds gross, i hate orka, that's what's sliming the thing up! I've never had it fried though. Deep frying always makes everything taste better.
