| It may just depend on the store location and not the whole company. At our local wal-mart I have seen people walk in with dogs. And nothing that I know of was ever said. I personally have never tried it. Partly because Mollie is so demanding and wants everyone to pay attention to her. The only places I take her are either to Petsmart or PetCo. And of course to the local dog park.

| We're S-h-o-p-p-i-n-g. (Remember that old Pet Shop Boys song?) Anyways, adding to the list is Sears at Shoreline where I saw a lady and her yorkie trying on shoes. Okay, it was the lady trying them on while her daughter held her yorkie. They appeared to be getting fine customer service. I snuck Bodhi into the Fred Meyers in Ballard. It's a huge building with a grocery store on one end and the garden department on the other end. We entered the non-food section to be safe. Bodhi stayed hidden in his tote while getting Rubbermaid containers, but had to watch the cashier. No comment from the cashier. Otherwise, we just visit dog stores so far. As a side note, my friend has been on a ladder paintiing her house with her dachsund asleep in her chest pouch, heh. |

| Rocky pretty much goes everywhere with me except to the grocery store and food places. But there some eaten places in Fort Worth/Dallas that are dog friendly, but you have sit on the patio which is okay when the weather is nice. Rocky loves going to the hair salon and the nail salon with me. I thinks its because all the ladies just love him to death. And of course I have been taking him to the mall since I got him with no problems yet. The only story that has kicked me out is Dillards, but that is okay I don't shop there that much anyways. |

| I tried to sneak Lola in Walmart a few weeks ago. Lola was in her Guess carrier. Just as we were passing the "Greet Lady," Lola stuck her head out. Greet Lady called me back and told me no dogs allowed. I said, ok, I'm leaving. And I turned around to leave... I was on the other side of the inside doors...just 5 steps from leaving the store. Greet Lady grabbed and held Lola's carrier and was pulling Lola from me! She yelled to the other worker that "she has a dog!" I pushed her arm away...the carrier contained my wallet and personal belongings...and walked out of the store. I was embarrased and mad. I don't know what she intended to do by confiscating Lola??? My daughter asked me if I hit the Greet Lady and I said no...I pushed her arm away from my bag. I had never done anything like that but I felt like she was trying to take my baby. I will never try to sneak Lola in at WalMart anymore!! |

| I dont think you should not shop at a store just because they dont let your dog in...they're just trying to save themselves of any problems. I leave Kelsey at home and only take her to conveinent stores etc. I don't have anything against those who do...and i don't have a problem with it, i just don't do it personally. I wouldn't want to feel like i was offending anyone else and all that mess.

| How rude was that!!!! I would most likely knocked some sense into the lady. She had not right to grab you personal belongings. Did you ask to the store manager regarding the lady's behavior? |

| i've had bunjee with me in his carrier at the grocery store, walgreens, target, and even the post office yesterday. the post office i felt guilty about because everywhere i looked there was a "no dogs allowed except seeing eye dogs" sign. but the line was really really long and i didn't want to leave bunjee in the car for that long. not to mention he was just asleep in the bag anyways. i was in and out and no one was the wiser, well, maybe except the lady behind me in line. |

| I used to bring Teddy with me practically every where I went but it seems lately more and more "no dogs allowed" signs are popping up. Whatever...I can respect that. What I don't like to see is that they try to profit from them by now carrying so many obviously small dog related items and yet they treat us so rudely. That to me at least seems a little hypocritical. I generally try to keep any pet purchases I make to the stores that are also pet friendly.

| in the stores' defense, they probably don't want to say it's okay for certain dogs but not for others (although i don't see why they can't just say no dogs over 20lbs like the airlines do with in cabin pets, but i digress). and there are certain breeds with the reputation to be more aggressive that stores may not want on their property because it may threaten shoppers whether they be adults, kids or the elderly. so it's easier just to say "no dogs, period" |

| for the ones in Oregon, Clackamas Towne Center allows dogs as long as you can carry them. I know this for a fact I was there a few weeks ago w/ Roxy and security said I had to take her out so I said okay then his supervisor walked up and said thats not the malls policy. Dogs cant walk around which I totally understand and would never put her down in a mall anyway. Target kicks me out all the time when she sticks her head out of her carrier. |
