Are First Shopping Trip Well got into Home Depot without a fight but didn't make it pass the old lady at Walmart that told me Pets were not allowed told her fine will shop at Target where they are and left :D |
Good for you. Target is much better!!!! :yeahthat: :wavey: |
I didn't know pets were accepted at Target. Does anyone know any other common stores pets are allowed in? I never take Bia anywhere with me unless Im going to like peoples houses, because Im afraid Ill be turned away and I don't want to leave her in the car all alone. But if there are stores that accept them then I would definitley take her with me!! |
Kicked out of Target... I was kicked out of Target the other day with Trixie :( I still love Target though... Does anybody know if it changes things if you have them in a tote where the Yorkie is hidden??? |
Alright!!! You boycott those stores that won't let our puppies in!!! :) I think the funny part is our dogs are so much cleaner than alot of people i see in the stores!!!!!! :) |
home depot allows dog next time call the manager the people at the door are just rude i have a friend that just had a problem too |
I really don't like Walmart anyway but I have to go they sale the jean she wear at a good price. They didn't have them now I have to go to another city to get them grrrrrrrrrrrr. Oh I have my own Home Depot Assistant that live lives with me (hubby) so that does help getting her in. Oh I did look around at Wally World and seen no sign posted NO DOGS ALLOWED. |
New Puppy on the Way hello Live in Canby (outside of Portland) and getting a new male puppy in a few weeks and am so excited...trying to come up with a great name...any suggestions? Also--what kind of collar do you all recommend. Thank you. :aimeeyork |
Most stores do not let you in if they sell food! Target claims that pets are not allowed because of their "restauraunt". Malls aren't much better either. If you have a well trained puppy that will hide in a bag then you can sneak her in. I've done this @ Walmart, malls, and Home Depot. I don't like leaving my babies in the car either. Hiding your dog works only if you have ONE dog! Two don't work at all. Dogs are also NOT allowed @ Coulon Park in Renton, WA. Found this one out the hard way... I don't go to that park any more. I also think that my dogs are way cleaner than most people...especially kids! |
Geez, what kinda park is that! :thumbdown That's lame!!! Boo to Coulon Park! |
I know that Circuit City is dog friendly. I haven't been kicked out of Target or Wal-Mart (yet) but I could be coming. I also say boycott these dog un-friendly stores. Humf! They are so mean. I have been kicked out of a grocery store, and I knew it was going to happen before I even walked in there but if you don;t try, you won't know. I don't think we should leave our dogs at home in fear that we might get kicked out of a store. If they tell you to leave, take your dog and leave. They are loosing a valuable customer. Their loss, not yours! :D |
Dog friendly stores We've had good luck at Trader Joe's; the University District store lets us take Auggie in; one of us usually goes in first to ask if it's ok, but they haven't said no. |
Hey Auggie Welcome to YT and hope you stay were a pretty bunch of friendly people with lots of advice you can read and ask questions. Carol and Minnie |
We were able to take our baby into the Walmart here in Aberdeen today with no problem... But I have heard you cant take them into many places. I could never sneek my danes into any store but Petco or Petsmart lol. Snickers goes everywhere with us so far. Does anyoen here in the Northwest put coats on there Yorkies? We just got ours on Sunday and is 8 weeks old. |
I just saw a woman carrying a puppy in J Crew yesterday. So they must be fine in there. |
