in the stores' defense, they probably don't want to say it's okay for certain dogs but not for others (although i don't see why they can't just say no dogs over 20lbs like the airlines do with in cabin pets, but i digress). and there are certain breeds with the reputation to be more aggressive that stores may not want on their property because it may threaten shoppers whether they be adults, kids or the elderly. so it's easier just to say "no dogs, period" |
