				 | Also - I know how slow metabolism can be - especially when you get past your 40s. Yikes! __________________ Truer words have never been spoken It has to come off sooner or later. In my case later but as long as it does and my cholestrol goes down I will be a happy camper |

				 | so, yesterday, sitting at a very nice restaurant with my husband, my investor, and our title attorney, my ever so sweet husband announces to me...and everyone else at the table "oh, by the way honey, you have high cholesterol". my jaw dropped. he has NO tact. none. this is the first i have heard of it. apparently the insurance lady emailed him and told him that when i had my physical done, it came back that it is high. she didn't indicate how high...but that i should start seeing a doctor for it. well...it would have been nice if he told me this in the privacy of our home...not announce it at the table of the restaurant with everyone else there!!! I truly do not like him. anyway....so...i guess i have that to worry about. funny...i was watching on tv yesterday about low cholesterol diets and how you can not be overweight but have high cholesterol and not even know it. wellllll...what a coincidence huh?? so i will be working on that

				 | Down 2 more pounds. Which is somewhat of a wonder considering I had my guests bring me bagels from my fav shop back in NH and the last three days have started with one loaded with butter and cream cheese. |

I also lost another 2 pounds so that's 4 since we started this thread...yippee...I only have 5 more pounds to go to reach my goal weight of 40!! I'm seeing that these last few pounds are taking waaaay longer than the pound a week - it's been like 2 pounds every 3 weeks but that's OK - it's still coming off. I have until 12/26 to get that 5 pounds off - that's the date of my LAST nutritionists appointment. It's going to be tough since the holidays are now coming. Keep up the good job everyone - let's get more updates!!

				 | Ok so one day at a time is my motto... Today I have had 13.5 fat and 1225 calories. I did mild exercise today - took the boys for a walk around the block; 1/2 being uphill. I didnt take those calorie burned from the ones I ate. I also park as far as away as I can and walk to the door at work. Baby Steps... thats all I can do

				 | sounds like everyone is doing really good i am the same this week as i was last week, i think. i weighed in this morning at 144 i have been to the dr and told that my cholesterol is at 223, should be 200 or below. my triglycerides are slightly high as well. so i will definitely be on the treadmill for at least 45 minutes at least 4 times a week. i HAVE to do something more than what I am doing. so I am sure to lose some weight in the process...which isn't a bad thing at all....
