| wow.....now may be the time to seek another place to live...... Sorry.....if it were my daughter.......she would be out of there...as would I. My kids come first....and you are risking the safety and well being of all of you by staying. |

| I'm sorry to hear about your situation but I agree with the counseling. We work really hard in school to learn and get good jobs. We work really hard at work to learn, do better for raises and promotions. Sometimes I don't think everyone puts the same effort into their marriage. Not to say that either of you are not trying but having an outside party me help you both get to the route of the problem and fix things. And if after you've done all you can to fight for your marriage and its still not working you know what you have to do. For now think of the things tat made you fall in love with him. Talk to him not at him. listen to what he has to say with an open mind. Good Luck |

| Sorry the 1st post was before I read about the abusive. You need to step back and get counseling for yourself in a safe environment. Once you have a clear head then you can make the decision whether you want to try again and what you will require of him to make it work. But right now you need to be safe. I've seen both endings where the abuse would probably continue and therefore my friend had to leave permenantly and I seen where my sisters husband did it once. He was kicked out the locks were changed he was under stress and used the wrong method to release it. There's no excuse for what he did but he did what he needed to make sure it wouldn't happen agian and there sstill together. Either way you decide be safe and I'll keep you in my prayers |

Donating YT 11K Club Member | [QUOTE=DENISE517]I'm sorry to hear you are having problems, but if a man hits a woman...then he is no real man. Let alone the fact that you were pregnant. I dont know all your facts but I must say it doesnt sound like a great enviroment for your kids or for you. If they are afraid of him that is not good. You don't want your kids living in fear. Sometimes people like that will strike again and sometimes even do it to the kids. [QUOTE] I agree with what she said 100% |

| I'm sorry you are going through this and I realize I don't know you very well or the situation outside of your posts. But to not beat around the bush... take your kids and leave.

| Always remember, people don't usually change much. If he hit you he will most likely do it again. You can't change him. Sounds like you both need individual counseling before you go for couple counseling. But sweetie, you and your children deserve better than this. Don't you agree? I grew up in an abusive home and the after effects stay with you for a long long time into adulthood. It affects your self esteem big time. Don't expose your children for another second if you want them to grow up and be mentally, emotionally and physically healthy adults. They are the innocent victims here. |
