Hi all, I just needed to lose alittle, but I'm pleased so far :) Today is day 12 and 6 pounds lighter :) I'm trying to get off the "quitting smoking" pounds. My husband is 8 pounds. They always lose quicker! I'm 5'9 and thin, but my flat belly developed a little bulge and my arms seem bigger. I really need to start exercising too to tighten. I'd be happy to lose 9 more pounds I think. My problem is finding different food to eat thats FAST :) I'm already planning a cheat!!!!! Next weekend I told my husband we are going to our favorite Mexican resturaunt. We haven't been there in 2 weeks and we never miss a Friday! |
Thanks for the info. Are these low carb foods? When mine gets low I develope an irregular heartbeart which I have been experiencing the last few days,so maybe it is low. I haven't been eating to well lately. Quote:

Hey I'm in too. I'm doing Weight Watcher's points and so far so good but I also watch my carbs too. Hubby is trying. He needs to lose about 50 lbs. We were just talking about the high blood pressure and diabetes. I told him if he loses weight he'd prob. not need meds. How about a certain day to weigh in and post how much we lost or gained? My husband's doctor told him that diabetes often goes away with a loss of 10% of your body weight, which was at the time 22 pounds for him, and he was absolutey right. Diabetes took a hike at about the 20 pound mark. Good luck to you both and especially your hubby. The side effects of those meds are so nice to be rid of! |
I'm glad everyone's been doing well on their diet. Have you all been working out??? I weighed in a little over two weeks ago at 145 lbs. I am now at 135 :) |

It is hard to get into the routine!!! Working full time out of the house and when I get home I'm STILL working full time :) Well i just did 20 minutes and I guess 20 minutes is better than no minutes! :) Now to just do it everyday!!!! :D |
Dinner tonight??? Ok you low carbers.... What's for dinner tonight???? We are going to have steak, broccoli with cheese , and salad with ranch dressing. |

I've started on lipotrim, not sure if you can get it over there. Its the same concept at a low carb diet but you have shakes? |

I will have the usual eggs, I'm sick of chicken already. I ate a whole bag of pork rinds in the last two days.I'm sure I won't lose any doing that anymore. I have done this diet before and has lost alot faster. I don't know what I am doing wrong.:rolleyes: |

It could be diet stress hon. I know that when you are stressed out.......your body will tend to hold on to the weight and not let go :rolleyes: What I do, is plan my meals for the week. I pre-cook batches of food and stick them in the fridge/freezer......kinda like a grab-n-go thing. ;) |

Not sure if it's me (my hormones) or what............but I get the impression my ideas/input are not too welcomed in this thread :( I am NOT a low-carb expert but was kinda hoping to get support/buddies to do this with. I have lost 173lbs doing this..........but the hardest part is keeping it off :rolleyes: Anyow, I will just go and sit in my little corner then :p Jess |
