| I am sure they are all going to see the coach after school. Yes I plan on talking to him when he gets home. I know he was very upset to call me from school. First thing I thought was something happened because he NEVER calls me from school in the morning. Baseball is his passion he has been playing since he was five years old. He has given up going out with friends on Friday nights during baseball season so he could give 100% to the team. I just feel so bad that this is happening to NOT JUST HIM, but HIS FELLOW TEAM MATES during their senior year.

| I would go to the school ASAP. It's not allowed here. This is his last year, Seniors shine their last year. I would fight to keep him on the team.

| Aiya, you're getting it all wrong... Of course being cut from a team would make me mad. Of course it'd make me feel like cr@p and not humility. I'm not suggesting anybody should just sit around and cry, or just accepting it. Fight for it! I'd be the first one to stand up for what I believe. In this case, I'm simply asking the kid to stand up (first) for something he's passionate about! The mom's role is to encourage him to do that. Give him ideas of what to do, be self-sufficient. Her job is to back him up and let him know that if he needed help, she's always there. |

I believe that every meeting he has with his coach or the school board you should be there to backup your son so he does not get stepped on. I would ask your son to provide you with the names of the members on the high school team. Talk to your son about holding a meeting with the members AND their parents. After everyone has said their piece, bring the whole group to the school board. Make sure students on the team know that this can happen to them their senior year. I would contact at least the local paper. I agree that the news will enjoy hearing from the younger man more because he is the one involved. But please make sure you are standing behind him during every interview so he isn't being misrepresented. This is very stressful for someone their age. They are NOT adults yet, but this can definitely help prepare them for it. Good luck and please keep us posted.

| Ok it's time to leave work. Time to go and join the other irrate Baseball parents. Maybe a little batting pratice is in order. lol. Actually we could have the march of the yorkie moms and have a little chat with the coach. Don't mess with a Yorkie Mom. I will let you know what happens later. Thanks for all your support.

| I honestly think I would make a big deal about this. SOunds like the new coach is trying to show off since he had mentioned he wouldn't feel bad about cutting seniors. I agree with what a way to show the seniors what you think about them. Sounds to me like the coach is saying who cares..... I would go give the coach and the principal an ear full. |

| I don't think I could wait until after school because he risk the chance of the coach not being there to talk to also. If you catch them off guard they can cannot make up a BS reason for do what they did. |

And, when did I ever say not to support her son? If I were in that situation, saw my parents making a big scene out of this, I'd be SOOOO embarrassed.
