Of course being cut from a team would make me mad. Of course it'd make me feel like cr@p and not humility.
I'm not suggesting anybody should just sit around and cry, or just accepting it. Fight for it! I'd be the first one to stand up for what I believe.
In this case, I'm simply asking the kid to stand up (first) for something he's passionate about! The mom's role is to encourage him to do that. Give him ideas of what to do, be self-sufficient. Her job is to back him up and let him know that if he needed help, she's always there. |
