| Deb- so true! Okay... where do I start?! When people brake and then signal- you signal to let others know what you're about to do. People who break, then signal, then stay in the middle of the lane and take an hour to make a stinkin' right-hand turn. Get out of the lane and push the gas pedal already!! People who take their time going through an intersection that has an exceptionally short green light and an incredibly long red light- especially during rush hour. Push the gas pedal!!! People who drive slow- especially during rush hour. Just because you have all the time in the world, it doesn't mean I do. Wire hangers and disorganized closets. Don't tell me you can't find a certain clothing item if your closet looks like it just threw up on itself! People who either a.) know and don't care or b.) don't take the time to notice the walk/don't walk signal and walk across traffic just as the light changes to green. Twice as irritating if they take their sweet time to get the "strut" just right as they make their way across the street. People who stop in the middle of the doorway to have a conversation or find something in their purse. People who don't wash their hand after they go to the bathroom. Seriously- it doesn't take that long. Whether you've gotten anything on your hands or not (and I seriously hope you haven't) you're in that area, so clean up when you're done. People who pee on the seats in the public restrooms. First of all- it's not a distance contests- get close enough so that it goes in, and second of all- if it was clean when you went in there and isn't when you're done- clean up after yourself! People who are constantly negative. When my bf "doesn't notice" he's made a mess with crumbs, etc., and doesn't clean up after himself. And probably my biggest pet peeve... (drum roll, please) When people make comments about about how they can't afford to go to college. That's what student and personal loans are for. You'll get no pity from this in-debt girl. I did it, you can, too. |

| OK I have another one and I do not think anyone has said this one, so correct me if I am wrong-- I hate when friends call me to talk and all they do is talk about themselves and don't even bother to ask how you are!!!! And its 15 minutes of them and then OK--gotta go-- WTF?????

| I thought of another one When my husband will tell me 100 times to do something when he isnt doing anything at all and I still have 3 loads of laundry and dinner to cook. For example he called me and told me to mail the check for the house payment like 5 times today when I have been very busy at work, while he is at home sitting on his butt watching tv all day!!!!

You catch a citation fish, they caught a whale, you have a cold, they have pneumonia. No matter what IT is theirs' is/will be bigger, better, best.....

| This thread has made my day!! I have "been there, done that" so many times. From the TP over or under, to the belching to make room for more have kept me in stitches!! I have been known to change other peoples TP rolls quite often. Even had someone complain about it once, not knowing for sure who changed it!! This thread has made me wiser and more tollerant of other's pet peeves. Some peeves I agree with, without even knowing that I do. I have to add a couple more of mine tho: 1. When you're looking for something and someone asks you "did you find it?", while it's obvious that you're STILL looking for it!! 2. People that blow their noses in restaurants or wherever other people are eating!! 3. Opening up the refridgerator and asking "where's the butter" (or whatever they're looking for) without moving ONE SINGLE ITEM!!! Bill Engival (sp) says it best when he does his "HERE'S YOUR SIGN" thing!! That's all for now. Suz

| OMG.......... I have been sitting here reading this entire thread, laughing so hard. Men can be........well, just men. They ask where something is at, such as the ketchup, when it was right in the door of the fridge all along. When the coffee kicks in, they proceed to go into the bathroom, and half the time, leave the door open, magazines laying there, (like you really want to touch them after knowing they probably had their paws on it while wiping or something....ugh), then never, ever, offer to use the convenient can of lysol sitting nearby, to spray. Shall I go on? Okay, I will. Mine for instance, bless his sweet heart, drives me nuts when he eats, because he crunches a little too loudly, or will sit there and shake his popcorn bag, while I'm engrossed in a great movie, which I just want to shove the entire bag down his throat. Then, you know once you get all comfy in bed, and perhaps reading, or watching television quietly, then here he comes, lays down, and grabs your book, magazine, whatever, and starts reading it.............grrrrrr. Or, let's see.........garbage day is Tuesday. I do the cleaning, cooking, laundry, and take the garbage out of the can, and place it by the door to be carried to the curb on Tuesdays. Repeatedly, he proceeds to walk right out the front door and goes to work, and just graciously slides right on by the bag or two of garbage. But, didn't forget to get his bag of lunch that I just managed to fix for him...............grrrrrrrrowl! And oh, talking too loud in a movie theater, or a quiet restaurant, etc etc etc.......annoying to no end. I know I can think of more, but it's almost time for me to leave....LOL. I love my man, it may not sound like it, but I do! Things can grate on your nerves, ya know? These are pet peeves, aren't they? And of course, I'm flawless, and there isn't a thing he can say about me I'm sure........ *LOL*

Seems there are quite a few of us that think along the same lines...some of us just type faster than others I, also, just realized that the post I quoted regarding the ghetto teens didn't quote in my post. I meant include those adults with their ghetto pre-teens and teenagers.

| LOL, well, I caught the drift, but will some of the others? All people will take all this text according to what mentality they are.... Huked on Fonix always werked for me anyways! *L* And lastly, Men will always be men......No matter how hard we try to change them, correct them, drag them along like our doggies, they still just cannot get it!!! Then they get frustrated because they say they aren't mind readers? How can they read our minds when they don't even have one of their own to use? DUH! Have a good day, I'll check back later!
