Pet Peeves So, what are yours? Everyone has them. Don't lie. Mine are: 1) People who get in a turn lane and try to pass as many cars as they can before they get over at the last minute. :mad: 2) The way my husband mis-pronounces some words, like "Valentimes Day." Don't ask me why...it just bugs me. But yet, I think it is funny when my child does it. Like when she says the put on her "glubs" instead of her "gloves." And that people speak with an "accident" instead of an "accent." |
Yeah everyone has them!!! Mine are: 1) People who chew with their mouths open!! Oh it drives me INSANE!! Especially when they chew like a cow and make a lot of noise - that is the part that really gets me!! 2) When my hubby says where are the paper towel(without the s) I always say here are the paper towelSSSS. And scissor, do we have a scissor! It's scissorSSSS - it's a pair of scissorSSS. I know some people do say it like that but he does it just to annoy me :p I could probably think of more but I don't everyone to think I am completely nuts :p :D :p |
My husband hates it when I say seement, not cement and when I say "I"talian not Italian. I hate it when he leaves the cabinet doors open in the kitchen and I hate it when my boss does it at work! |
Where do I even begin...let's see: 1) when the two "boys" of the house leave the toilet seat up or when they don't change out the toilet paper roll :mad: 2) people that drive with their freaking turn signal on but never turn :mad: 3) in-laws :mad: 4) the way my father-in-law chews his supper with his mouth open or smacks as he chews...that's why I don't go over there anymore for supper. :mad: 5) people that drive too slow and hold up traffic :mad: 6) people that don't use turn signals :mad: 7) people that interrupt you when you're trying to say something. When people talk, I wait till they are finished before I say something and then they'll just interject. :mad: 8) walking into a bedroom and the bed is not made :mad: 9) hubby making ramen noodles and makes a mess all over the stove and then doesn't clean it off. :mad: 10) I think that's it. :D |
People that don't heed the construction signs and get into the lane that is closing just to jump ahead of the line. That burns me up!!! I usually ride over the center line just to piss them back off ---[ that way they can't pass me to continue ahead. |
I also hate when my husband mispronounces things, ok at Walmart they have Layaway well he says Lel-way. Yeah he pronounces it like that it drives me batty! There is something else that he says that drives me crazy but I cant think of it right now. Also when people put there toilet paper on upside down I have to have it a certain way... The right way! oh yeah the other thing that my hubby says is moment he says it like mulment. |
Negativity!! It burns me!!!! Things happen, accept them, learn from them, and MOVE ON!!!! Ahaahah!!! I do hair, so you should hear some of the stories people tell and they never blame themselve and are sooo quick to point their finger at someone else!!!! And unhappiness, if you aren't happy--you have the power to change!!!!! Do it and quit complaining!!!! |
Here are mine: 1) People who don't listen and ask you the same question over and over again...that drives me totally insane!! 2) People with no ambition...they want you to take care of them all the time, and have to goals or dreams for themselves!! 3) People who drive with their windshield wipers on when it is not raining...my mom does this and it bugs the heck out of it! 4) People who suddenly decide to turn without a signal causing you to slam on your brakes....come on people how hard is it to signal!! |

I hate when people stop in front of doors/elevators/stairs etc. and stand there having a conversation while people have to try to squeeze past them to get where they're going! The busier it is the more it annoys me. Just step to the side out of the way, already!! sheesh!!! I also get annoyed at complainers, whiners and especially MEAN people!!! |
I will try to limit myself to just a few! 1. People who eat and make noises while doing so 2. Attention seeking behavior....you know what I mean 3. People who drive in the left lane....slowly 4. Gum chewing 5. In laws 5. Pronouncing Alzheimers disease as Oltimer's and coupons as kupun...ugh |

Plain old stupidity!! Lack of convienence for other people. Loss of common sense. CELL PHONES!!! Cabinet doors left open, or drawers pulled out. Not enough time to list all of them. Suz |
