| The only HOA violation I have ever had was for Sophie Kate in the pool (and get this I was the HOA President at the time, I am just a rebel like that and broke the rule). Has anyone ever used a service from Angie's List? I have floors sanded on Friday, I found the company on Angie's List and they were wonderful. Oh and the estimater has a Yorkie named Sophie, when he came over to do the estimate he spent more time petting my dog. Now I want to paint my garage door, I would love to do a color between aqua blue and seafoam green.

| YT 2000 Club Donating Member | This was a 4yr old bush, but did not survive the harsh winter we had here. Hubby is now trying to saw off the two trunks of it. So sad, it was a mainstay in our garden.

We had a bad freeze here last season and we lost a bunch of landscaping -- we thought we lost our big bougainvilleas - which we felt just terrible about, but they surprised us and came back, even though they looked absolutely dead. Another year, we lost 6 ficus trees!!! Now THAT was a huge loss to us - they were like 12 ft trees.

Very sad! I lost 3 more large potted plants on my deck this past winter. Things we plant are *almost* like pets to me and it makes me so sad to lose them.

| I totally agree about the plants. I love to watch them grow little by little. I had so many herbs die already after they seemed to be doing so well, growing like crazy, and then the get all brown and crunchy. Wth? I got a new thai basil plant and a sweet mint, and a thai chile and serrano chile plant, repotted them into terracotta two days ago. They seem to be doing ok. The thai basil was three separate plants so I separated them into three different pots. I HOPE they make it!! Also we finally put our passiflora vines into pots. The first one I was trying to do myself, and when I was taking the plant out of the black plastic store container the root ball fell out and the stake came out, and I heard a bunch of the roots rip. I hope that one's ok too. The roots are so thin for such a thick bushy plant.

| I just started some basil and Thai basil from seed. One has sprouted already and I'm still waiting for the other. I guess I should have marked them because I don't know which one hasn't come up. The terra cotta pots seem to required more frequent watering than plastic since the pot absorbs water. When repotting into terra cotta I usually soak the pot in water for a couple of hours so it doesn't pull all the moisture from the soil. If it was t for my yorkies, I'd be the crazy plant lady!

| that is what I was before Max and Teddy came into my life. I had so much going indoors and outdoors and was just about to join the local bonsai club. Had to rehome a bunch of plants that were toxic to dogs.

| Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Just bought an outdoor rug for our backyard seating area - kind of a terracotta color with other accent colors - so excited to get it! Hope it adds some "pop" while also making the outdoor area seem more cozy. I recently hung some cabana curtains out there and WOW, they made the hugest, most lovely addition to it!

| That is beautiful, I love the colors and the design. I have an outdoor rug that I use in my garage. I spend an unusual amount of time in my garage doing projects and Sophie Kate is always in there with me (we have a small Ex Pen down there that we use). Honestly I am thinking of getting an outdoor rug for my dinning room. It is very casual room and I want something that I can wash off with the hose and not have to have professionally cleaned everytime someone (me) spills something on it.

.I was actually just reading how lots of people are now using outdoor rugs indoors bc of the very reasons you're saying. Me too!

| It is for sure my own craft area, we have a huge garage and not enough cars to fill it so I keep on side for my "projects". Right now I have some things in there I am going to sell this weekend at our neighborhood rummage sale. You know like old treasures that I had to have but now can get rid of. I think the outdoor rug indoors is a great idea too, I dislike spending the money to have that dang rug cleaned about 3 times a year. I know I sound like a real pig and honestly I am, between spills and Sophie Kate thinking that rug is where she should place her food (she carries it from her bowl to that rug, give her a treat and she runs to that rug).
