Okay, ladies....just between us....I now have an official excuse to jump back on the wagon and take it super seriously...Bf bought my engagement ring. He actually bought it!!! I was shocked when he told me, but he said he figured I would find out anyways and that it would ease my mind a little. But now I am to know nothing else about it from this point forward so as not to spoil the "surprise". EEEEEKK! :) So now that it could happen at any given time...I have to look my best! AND Planet Fitness opens this Monday, yay!!! $1 enrollment fee plus $10 a month?! Awesome deal. I started a detox on Wednesday and I'm all set to stick to my diet for real this time. I'm super excited. |

Congrats Carmen! And keep up the good work ladies! I've been walking the dogs a lot more, about five times a day. Cooking meals at home two out of three meals a day. I gained some back before the move. Didn't dare get on a scale, but I had to go out one belt notch. Now I'm back one notch down. I'm sure it also helps w all the stairs at home. Three floors puts a lots of stairs daily. I even noticed the pups were losing weight, so they get more food now to gain it back. They were getting too skinny. I'm sure they are happy about that! |
dog This is the secret to weight control. Portion Control! Just cut things in half, do not cut things out. You are going to want to eat what you cannot have so why not just cut back on it. Eat a half a sandwich. small bowl of ice cream and say to yourself, NO MORE. Get out and walk. I walk every day except Sunday(church) I go with friends and we take bags and pick up trash along the way. Keep our city clean and exercise. You can lose weight if you tell your body who is the boss and cut back. Eat fruit, veggies, and treat yourself once in awhile. This is how I keep my weight down and not worry about it. Remember, you are beautiful, no matter what size. God looks on the heart. Good people see others that way too. Look up, receive blessings of strength to lead a happy, healthy life! |
I'm still on the bandwagon!! Been not as active, as my mind has been focused on finding a better job, but I have been trying to keep eating healthy in the meantime. :) |
I haven't lost anymore weight. I do really well during the day, but when it comes to dinner... I've been eating too much! Ugh. I'm just always so hungry :p |
I'm not losing the weight I'd like either...going to start walking, if the weather cooperates. |

Today is one of those challenging days because of all the Easter candy, wine, champagne and food that will be in my face. So far so good... A protein smoothie for breakfast and a cup of coffee. Lets see how I do the rest of the day. Happy Easter everyone! |
I've lost a total of 7 pounds and hope to lose about 5 more. I've been doing alright, just binge at dinner lol. I am hoping to be able to control myself at family dinner. We are having scalloped potatoes and ham, my favorite meal. It has been nice feeling a little better about myself and even trying on bikinis. The summer weather is here and I want to look good! |
