I need to get back on the bandwagon! I'm fatter than ever... Before the baby i was aiming at losing 20 lbs... Well now it's a whooping 40!! ugg. I'm just going to focus on losing the 20 lb baby fat for now and then go from there. |
My doctor told me to take 2 birth control pills a day (I've been spotting since January), and I've noticed I'm having a harder time not eating carbs and sweets. At least I'm aware of it and haven't gained any weight. I just want a surgical solution so I can get off these stupid hormones. |
diet Here's the trick Do Not Overload Your Stomach If you want to lose weight and stay that way you just have to cut portions in half and not eat so much. Tell your body who is the boss and just don't eat too too much. The hardest thing is not being able to eat your favorites. Just eat them but not a lot. Half a sandwich instead of the whole. Handful of chips instead of a lot. One cup of ice cream and no more. Eat slowly and enjoy the little bites. It is a discipline but you will not feel that awful full feeling and you will enjoy your food. Choose healthy food, do not bring those greasy things home. Eat yogurt, fruit, veggie salad at night, . If you tend to eat too many cookies do not bring them home, eat carrot sticks and celery. Nuts really fill you up. Almonds and cashews. Walk every day. I hope this helps. See yourself as healthy and making good choices and I aways pray for help to eat right. You will feel better, look better and desisre healthy foods. Treat yourself to a little of the tasty foods but not a lot. One or two of something and then tell yourself no more. Where I live we walk and pick up trash with a grabber and gloves. People really appreciate us and we are exercising! Try it! |
Hey ya'll! I'm back! Anyone want to jump back on the wagon with me?? :D:) |
I'm game! I need to eat a lower fat diet since after I got pancreatitis. I guess the silver lining is getting sick made me lose weight. Now I am looking to gain back weight in muscle and not fat! |

What kind of diet are you on now to get the weight back on? |
I'm not gonna lie, I have been having some bad food. Since I've been out of the hospital I had two burgers and a few slices of pizza. But I'm eating small portions more frequently. I'm eating steamed fish, soup, veggies. Drinking loads of hot tea with apple cider vinegar and a teaspoon of honey. My appetite has not been good (back to my normal) since but I guess that's good? I used to eat a lot. Plus not drinking alcohol anymore I've been putting on the weight very slowly. I've never had a sweet tooth before and after I got sick I've been craving sweets like crazy. But I'll have a few bites and I'm good. We bought a box of Fererro Rocher from Costco and one is more than enough. I always keep frozen fish and shrimp so I can make something healthy in a pinch. I steam the fish with some soy sauce, garlic, tons of ginger, and green onions if I have it and eat it just by itself or some steamed rice. Shrimp I make a quick stir fry with whatever veggies I have. |
