| I do have one... but I hate waiting 8 hours to eat them! LOL I usually only think of them on the weekends. I should think of them more during the week so I can stick them in the crockpot!

I am looking into an Actifry... have you seen those? They look pretty cool! Check it out! I was going to start a new thread in the other section about it to see if anyone has it and what they think of it! T-Fal® ActiFry Low Fat Multi Cooker - Black - Bed Bath & Beyond

LOL Yes outside the box!! I love grilling too, that’s why I will throw my ribs on the grill to get that yummy grill flavor. I also love cooking on the grill because there is no mess! Easy clean up. I bought some chicken and some Tbone I will make this week also!! That does look cool. Not sure if I would really use it… What would you cook with it?

| Yikes!! I don’t know. For one I put a whole bottle of BBQ sauce in the crock pot LOL. I pretty much made it like lasagna! I put bbq sauce down on the bottom them put some meat- then bbq etc.. for two I cooked it way too long, it was on for like 9 hours. When I got home the crock pot was full of sauce, and it was stinky, Like car oil! I went to pick the ribs out and most of them were already off the bone. LOL Then I wrapped them in foil and threw them on the grill… Dh had some and our friend Danny ate some, but I couldn't- it tasted like oil to me- it wasn't good at all! DH told me just to stick to what I’m good at.. bbq chicken and steak LOL In all honestly I don’t think I’m a good crockpot cooker LOL I have tried to cook 2 other things and I totally failed at it LOL. I’m much better using the oven, and I’m even better at using the grill- I can make a mean steak!! For the record my bbq corn came out amazing!! I will try one more time to cook ribs, but I will get pork ribs and cook them on the grill LOL

| I'm not so good at crock pot cooking either, so mine is stored somewhere in the garage. The foil covered oven method works so well to get meat tender but still on the bone, but you have to monitor it and cook almost 3 hrs., then open up and glaze the sauce a little with the broiler. Apple juice in the bottom of the pan helps steam in a mild sweetness, or my daughter dumps a can of pineapple chunks over them. Go lightly on the sauce and serve extra sauce on the side for those who like more. (just sayin, in case you try again). The type of ribs & quality also makes a difference in the outcome. I love the baby back ribs from Costco.

| Sorry about your ribs.... I'm always afraid that my crockpot will catch my house on fire.... not that I care about my house but my babies are inside. I use a george foreman like everyday. I use foil on both grillers so I dont have to wash it. I also use the crockpot bags when cooking in them. I HATE dirty dishes...everything about them.... I dont even want to look at them.

I like country style ribs in the crockpot... but babyback, I think boil them, and then slow cook them for hours and then grill them for 10-15 mins will make them really good! I just never have the time or patience to do it! HAHA Last night I attempted to make FRESH orange sorbet.. I mean like hand squeezed the juice out of 10 oranges FRESH!!!! Get it made up, put it in the new ice cream maker. Let the sucker run for 45 mins... the bowl thawed and I did not have frozen anything!!! LOL EPIC FAIL! (that was my text to my hubby too! LOL) I put it in a bowl and put it in the freezer.... I know it will be frozen now... but I really wanted to make sorbet last night! WWAAHHH I better find a better fail proof recipe!
