I was getting the impression from the jury foreman that he and the other jurors voting for life were making their decision based on Travis being a big bad man abusing this poor young thing. The juror(s) seemed to be making their decision based on their moral beliefs rather than looking at the law and seeing if she fell under those guidelines. I think if this was a man accused of doing this to a woman there would not have been an issue.

The voice mails where Travis was cussing out Jodi were only on the ones that Travis was confronting Jodi because she had been hacking into his bank accounts, computer and staking him, Dr. Demarte testified to this. She said that is what she saw in viewing them. Apparently the jurors just had a problem voting for death when it came to doing it to a young attractive woman.
